If the Dem party popularity falls much more, they could decide to take the party underground. It's still far from being the equivalent of the 'free french' of ww2, but it seems to be fast approaching!

At 20% approval rating or lower a political party is considered a 3rd party. Our Libertarian party USA never made the 20% let alone top the 20%. The Lp is still around but hardly a top tier ranked political party but @ one time our Lp USA was in the mid-upper teens for an approval rating. At 29% approval rating the DNC party is definitely in the DANGER ZONE as they are only nine points from 3rd party status. I am truly shocked as the lowest approval ratings I have seen in the last month or so for the DNC political party was around 38%-41%. If the statist left fails to drop it's marxist religion(most likely too late now) they look to be going down the drain similarly to the old Whig political party.

The party has hemorrhaged support, suffering a jaw-dropping 20-point collapse in favorability since January 2021, when Joe Biden was inaugurated. Even their own base is abandoning ship, with Democratic Party favorability among supporters plummeting from 81% to a pathetic 63%.
Democrats can't even keep their own house in order.
The leadership vacuum is so profound that when asked who leads the Democratic Party, one respondent summed it up perfectly: "No one. That's the problem."
As for who respondents see as the party’s leader, well, that’s where things get really bad. Would you believe that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez comes out on top at 10%? Kamala Harris comes in at a close second with 9%, and Socialist Bernie Sanders is at 8%.
