Democrats are proud of the fact that being an American allows you to not fly the flag, be able to burn it, and kneel during the national anthem. To them, pride means something entirely different. I won't be doing more than the traditional BBQ with friends. Trump has ruined the holiday for me. He makes it all about him, got us into a lost cause in Iran, needlessly broken up families, cut aid to the needy, showed no compassion for what was done to people in his name, engaged in blatant corruption, weakened our democracy, etc. I don't expect to convince anyone to agree with me, but that is how I feel.

I agree, Trump absolutely should release them, and the fact that he hasn't will continually dog his tenure and raise suspicions.

Yes that was their excuse, but they could have released much of the data.
A blue congress that was available during Biden's first two years, could have forced the DOJ to release it all, but instead of doing so, they waited until the GOP took control so they would then be able to go after them as well as Trump and create an atmosphere of suspicion. It's worked great for them.
