Only 20% of Americans support trump's pardon of J6 Rioters

The lefts view on J6: Anyone there has to go to Jail for a decade
The left's view on the Floyd riots: No one did anything, that damage just happened all by itself, and even if it was done by people, they were justified in doing it.
Wow. You’re delusional.

And the only direct deaths that day were protesters, so no skin off your back.

Well, he told everyone that he was going to do it, so over 30% of his voters are pretty stupid. You know, I thought that eventually he would over reach his stay. Well, it happened a lot faster than I thought...like in two days. But all is not lost. You only need to wait 1457 days to get rid of the overstuffed liar. So there is hope!
I wonder what percentage of Americans were in favor of Biden pardoning murderers.

In perusing some of the posts in this thread, people are making one big, huge mistake.

They assume that NewsBleat, one of the lyingest piece of shit Rags on the Planet is telling the truth.

dimocrap scum lie, they know they're lying and they get you good folks to dance to their tune.

If you were to believe dimocrap scum, Trump LOST the election in a landslide, the J6 committee was right about everything, Sponge Brains Shits Pants didn't really pardon his whole family, lie after lie after lie.

dimocrap scum lie. It's what they do. It's ALL they do.

Look at the front page. Virtually every thread these psychopaths start is a blatant lie.

This thread is a lie. It is an absolute lie. And no, I'm not going to look for an argument from the DISGUSTING FILTH of the Media. They lie. Everybody knows it. Even THEY know it.

I don't argue with pathological lying psychopaths.

We won. Now they start with the lying in earnest

Corrupt Philly DA going to wage lawfare on pardoned J6 hostages. Claims he will pursue STATE CHARGES.

So STATES can go after the pardoned Biden family as well, CORRECT?
Absolutely correct. POTUS can only issue pardons for FEDERAL Crimes. The States can indict and imprison dimocrap scum to their heart's desire.

And they should. I encourage them to go after Falsi. They can use the testimony he will be required to give at the upcoming Congressional Hearings in which he will NOT be able to stand on the 5th Amendment right to not incriminate himself. He MUST testify or risk prison for contempt.

Falsi goes down, he takes a lot of dimocrap FILTH with him. Guar-an-teed

Curious that an angry leftist would have a major meltdown over presidential pardons.

Let’s understand that Trump had no motive, as Biden did, to protect himself and a crime family syndicate from investigation prompting the pardons.

Its never happened before in America, a convicted criminal pardoning other convicted criminals. And, like the criminal Trump, they are criminals, whether they plead guilty or were convicted by juries of their peers.

Despite this massive miscarriage of justice by the Criminal Trump, we can take solace in the fact that those convicts, newly freed, went through hell and high water with their convictions and incarceration in American prisons.

They lost not only their freedom, but jobs and income and perhaps their marriages. Their kids are forever branded as offspring of criminals, they had to eat prison food, wear prison clothing and associate with convicts like themselves. So, while the Convict Trump has seen fit to release those scumbag members of his cult into society, they have paid a heavy price for their insurrections and attempts to overthrow the government of the United States of America.

But, opportunities do await them, thanks to the Criminal Trump. Jobs will abound in the farm fields of California and Florida to replace the migrants that the Criminal Trump has removed from the country. Picking vegetables and fruit will help restore their pride for a job well done. And, all over the country, there are roofs needing repair that those criminals can use their talents on, jobs that will be coveted by the white nationalists of the Criminal Trump Cult.

So, while now freed, their lives have been upended, and hopefully, they will never completely recover.

Bigly!!!

Here's a great article for you to read from Newsweek, not Fox News:

John Yoo is a right wing hack, the author of the torture memos.

There were no pardons for murderers. There were commutations of sentences.

Read a book.

Which is a form of pardon
Nope.

A pardon is the use of executive power that exempts the individual to whom it was given from punishment. The president’s pardon power is based on Article II of the Constitution which says, “…he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment. Unlike a commutation , which shortens or eliminates an individual’s punishment, a pardon absolves the individual of guilt. For example, President Trump commuted Roger Stone’s prison sentence so that Mr. Stone did not serve the punishment for his guilty conduct. On the other hand, President John F. Kennedy pardoned all first time offenders convicted of crimes under the Narcotics Control Act of 1956 to signal to Congress that the law needed to be changed.

Run along.

How about NBC?
Good point. He did pardon one murderer:

Beverly Ann Ibn-Tamas, 80, of Columbus, Ohio. At age 33, Ibn-Tamas was convicted of killing her husband. She testified that her husband beat her, verbally abused her and threatened her. She told jurors that she shot him moments after he had assaulted her, while she was pregnant. The judge refused to allow expert testimony on battered woman syndrome, a psychological condition that can develop among victims of domestic violence. Ibn-Tamas got one to five years of incarceration with credit for time served. Her appeal was among the first by someone with battered woman syndrome, and her case has been studied by academics.

What do you think Americans would feel about this?

How about the NYT's?

Virginia Governor Criticizes Biden for Commuting Sentences of 2 Men

The men had been acquitted by a jury of the murder of a police officer, but the judge had concluded that they had been involved and sentenced them to life in prison.

Why is it so hard for you guys to understand that a pardon and commutation are different?
