The US Constitution does not grant POTUS the power or authority to grant a blanket immunity against any crimes that someone might be charged in the future. The POTUS is not a monarchy.........the duty of the executive branch is to enforce the law, not take the place of the Judicial Branch.

I know those who have been pre-emptively (winkwink) pardoned can be called to testify during a legal investigation without being able to invoke the 5th amendment, in other words their own words will incriminate them when asked about crimes they may or may not have witnessed (to include their own)........meaning: They either answer truthfully or face the penalty for "Perjury" when the evidence proves they are lying. Penalty for lying under oath: Up to 5 years in prison.
