Obama didn't "bomb" these nations. The host nations authorized these incursions because they didn't want these terrorists setting up camp in their country either. They're destabilizing to the entire region. It's far too easy for these terrorist cells to be turned on them in the service of local war lords or rebellions.

I never said Obama deserved to win the Peace Prize. I said that Obama didn't "bomb 7 different countries without Congressional authorization" and that his drone attacks on terrorist bases had the consent of the governments of their host nations, who wanted El Qaeda gone as much as the Americans did.

What Obama did and what Trump is doing are two entirely different things, although both of them could make a valid claim that their actions were authorized by the 2002 Congressional Use of Force Resolution.

No matter if people like him or hate him, no matter if he is a lawless sonovabith, that is against constitutional law, the courts or democracy itself, is immaterial, to whether others in the world recognize an Iran/Israeli peace, and would view it as a significant achievement, and it, in fact would be. If it works out to be longer lasting, it would merit the Nobel, and I have no doubt he would get it. I also have no doubt he would be very pleased, and if the peace holds, he would deserve it, no matter what Americans on both sides of the political divide think of what he is doing to and in this country, domestically.

I never suggested any such thing. I think Obama was prepared to go into Syria in 2013, if Congress had authorized it. If he had, and Assad had been taken out quickly, you might not have had a Syrian refugee crisis in the world, but such speculation must also acknowledge that ISIS had been building its movement since 2005, and such actions might have helped them increase their power and influence unless the US was prepared to stay in Syria to support the regime, whatever that might be.

Libya was a UN/NATO operation from start to finish.

I also believe that the USA should have never gone into Afghanistan, but when they did, they should have left after they killed Bin Laden. They should have taken out El Qaada's leadership the same way they took out Bin Laden.

Over 100,000 people died in Iraq, and 150,000 in Afghanistan in wars that lasted 8 and 20 years respectively. And you wonder why the rest of the world thinks the USA is the most dangerous nation to world peace.

What bullshit. Obama's agreement ran until this year, and Iran wouldn't have a nuclear enrichment program at all, at this point, much less 60% enriched uranium, if Trump hadn't torn up that Agreement in 2018, in spite of Iran being in full compliance at the time.
