One of the best rock tunes of all time

Rock music absolutely can be held to that standard.
The classics are 300 years old but still appreciated

Metalica will be soon forgotten
Ok, not gonna be what I should be.... listening the last THREE HUNDRED YEAR OLD SONG......
I’m not questioning your choice of music

that is too personal

if you like it thats all you need to know

but metalica is Timely not Timeless and there is a big difference

it appeals to you, today, right now

but I’m absolutely certain it will be forgotten soon after you are gone

You're out of your league.....

Holy shit.
I just heard this on SIRIUS and was blown away. An old song but it sounds fresh!

Ronnie Lane, one of the tragic stories in Rock.
He was always bitter that Faces turned into nothing more than a backing band for Rod Stewart.

A thumbs down? Really? That's all it takes to trigger you?

"Trigger"? I wouldn't go that far, but the Outfield and TLC are not something you would ever find in my collection. "Scrubs"? Lol!!

All too often, when people list the greatest whatever OF ALL TIME, they actually are talking about THEIR time.

Forgetting the wealth of treasures that have been around longer than your own conscience leaves a lot of good stuff on the table.

I love music too. That's why you'll never find any RAP in my collection.

Sometimes a good song gets lost or forgotten only to be rediscovered by a future generation

But that does not happen often

using motzart as an example most people in his time dod not listen to his music

every tavern had songs that were a thousand times more popular then than Mozart was

but they no longer fit the times we live in today and are thankfully ignored
