One of my long time neighbors just put up a sign in his yard that says CHINGA TU MAGA.

I've seen this guy walking his dogs for many years. We wave and say Hi but don't know each other. This weekend he put up a couple of NO KINGS signs in his yard which is somewhat annoying, but whatever. He also put up a CHINGA TU MAGA sign that translates to F**K YOUR MAGA.

This is a nice quiet neighborhood, many of us have been here over 20 years. It really bugged me that this guy decided it was appropriate to say F**K YOU to many of his neighbors. He knows very well that our neighborhood like the country is very politically polarized.

It is no secret that I despise Obama but I have never and would never put up a sign than that says F**K YOU OBAMA SUPPORTERS. This is America. Everyone is entitled to their opinion political or otherwise.

What do you think? Is it OK to put up a sign in your yard that says that to your neighbors? I've always seen him as a nice old Hispanic Guy but now I'll see him as a divisive asshole. That's clearly what he wants but what good does that do?

This is the goal of the wealthy elitists funding the GET TRUMP movement. They not only want to destroy Trump politically AND personally they want the American people divided. CHINGA TU MAGA is all about generating personal hatred over politics and that is TOTALLY UN-AMERICAN.
.

Now you know him as well as you need to know him.

That doesn't sound Spanish. What is it?

To the topic, thats boorish and stupid. Its low class, plus someone might take more than mere personal hombrage at the sign.
Spanish. It's also means just hang in Swahili, but I don't think that's what he meant!

Try umbrage.

How can you wash dishes at a Mexican restaurant and not recognize that as Spanish? Sink worrier!

There was a protest at one of the highs schools in my city this past Saturday and across the street from the school were people with signs who stood on the other side of the protest matter. I don't think that things got out of hand, thankfully, but at the end of the day, what difference do any of those people think that they made?

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Signs can go up on whatever property we own, but at the end of the day, the only person that we have any real ability to speak for is ourselves and no one else.
Protests ended the Vietnam War

I don't know what you mean by this. I wasn't saying that signs are not allowed to be placed on people's property. To me, signs are no different compared to Christmas and Halloween decorations.

God bless you always!!!

Bro I may have mistook your post. I was thinking of the protests. Sorry!

This is a tough one.
I had a neighbor I'd see at the pool a few years ago who for whatever reason, always railed against Trump (first term). I'd be floating there and he's just go off on Trump. Did he assume I agreed with him? Was he just a complete psychopath?
I don't know but I would just ignore him and change the subject or swim away.
But I've changed. When Trump became the victim of two near assassinations and when Charlie Kirk was murdered, I told my wife, "No more Mr. Nice Guy. I won't put up with that shit anymore."
If somebody does that at a party or whatever, I'm gonna get on 'em and hit 'em hard. Not physically, of course, but I'll let 'em have it. The days of me being the Perfect Gentleman all these years are behind me now. We face a danger in this country and I will not be silenced.
As far as a sign in the yard, that's pretty damn bold and pretty damn rude. I guess you have to let it go or put up a Trump sign in yours.

P.S. The big Trump hater in the pool a few years ago?
He died.

You are entitled to that opinion. My opinion is, a sign that says FUK YOU MAGA in a quiet residential neighborhood is disgraceful. If you want to put it but the side of the road or on the bumper of your car, fine. Not in a neighborhood where you know there are Trump supporters who incidentally DO NOT put up signs that say FUK YOU DEMOCRATS.

"generating personal hatred over politics and that is TOTALLY UN-AMERICAN."

Have you not been on this forum long? Seems like it is totally an American thing to do.

Trump is doing it.

You're complaining about hatred, but he's opposing a dude who is using the presidency to cause hatred.

Ah yes, poor MAGA supporters. They're supporting a very divisive dude, a dude who goes out of his way to support racist people, that's apparently okay. But to put up a sign opposing this "HOW FUKCING DARE YOU?????????????"

It's like in 2016 when Trump was insulting everyone and anyone to gain attention. Fine.
Hillary made one comment about MAGA people and the MAGA people were up in arms. "This shows she's not fit to be president".

You people are so full of shit.

Now see, that's not against just a bad president, that's against a known majority of American voters.
I might would call ICE and ask them to check his immigration status. :terror:
Dude ain't flyin' no American flag, now is he?
