I repeat the amount of YouTube videos I see on a daily basis trashing Kirk deserves exposing. Again, the left isn't leaving this alone and shutting up about it so why should I?

I think maybe one or two democrats on this board outright condemned the assassination without adding any kind of caveat, if even that many did. This really exposed how far apart the divide truly is. Democrats actively cheered, celebrated, and blamed Kirk for his own assassination. How are you supposed to try and debate and problem solve with people who are okay with murdering people simply for their beliefs? Who are okay with you being murdered?

Years ago when I first started paying attention to politics, I genuinely believed that democrats and republicans can work together. They needed to shut up and listen, but it was possible. Or so it seemed. Seeing how democrats are today, that does not seem possible. They are some of the most vile and hateful people I have ever seen. They are quick to tout their own humanity and then make excuses as to why you are undeserving of it. Democrats are quick to dehumanize and devalue a person because it makes violence and extremism against them easier. How is there any true virtue in making a person less?

I hate the republican leadership with a passion and haven't voted for any of them in over a decade, but the people of the party are at least willing to discuss and accept that you have different beliefs. Most of them in fact don't seem to care as long as what you're doing isn't paraded in front of them or affects their family. So many people on the left however will not accept or treat you as a person if you do not agree with them. If you're black, you're called a race traitor, token, or uncle Tom. Latino, you should be the first to be deported. Woman, you deserve whatever horrible thing happens to your body because apparently you don't believe women have rights according to them. I just don't see us moving past this. We are not a nation united anymore and I don't believe we ever will be again.
