How many Americans remember that Nixon was president at the time? Most of the time JFK gets credit even though he was dead for 5 1/2 years. It's almost like the media erased Nixon from history.

Do not forget, he was Vice President during the Mercury era, and when Gemini and Apollo were first laid out as the programs to follow. And as VP, he was the head of the National Space Council.

That has been the case since NASA was founded. And why for decades, the Vice President is far more closely linked to NASA than the President is.

Or ,skipping over that, nobody has commented on Buzz allegedly pointing out the audience of several craft presumably watching and digesting .

Let alone the peaceful protest before they blasted back where entities beamed messages saying
Don't ever return, ugly creatures .
