On Saturday, Illinois celebrated its first annual "Barack Obama Day," a holiday on the 44th president's birthday in his home state. Republican Governor Bruce Rauner signed the bill into law after Obama's birthday
last year, making Saturday the first official celebration.

While it is good for Illinoians — and Americans — to take pride in the fact that the U.S. had its first black president, 2018 is a premature time to celebrate the man who vacated the office less than two years ago. There are many reasons why Rauner arguably should have waited."

3 Reasons 'Obama Day' Is a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Idea

You can't make this shit up.

Democrats have a natural tendency to celebrate failure.

Democrats have a natural tendency to celebrate failure.

And to promote it.

They can't succeed in a Capitalist Society so they want everyone else to be as miserable as they are.

Think about it

He's from the state. Our license plates say "Land of Lincoln" for example so it's not unheard of for a state to celebrate a president who hails from there. The fact that he left office 2 years ago doesn't really mean anything. I'm no Obama fan but there are some topics you should keep your hate for liberals out of.

Generally speaking, because I'm far from Illinois and don't need to look at the particulars, I find celebrations and positivity as being good.
