"Could This Be Magic" gave birth to the Brooklyn Grind, which I was tossed out of the Ocean Plaza Ballroom at Myrtle Beach, SC, in 1959 for "dirty dancing" to. :eusa_angel: The "grind" was just too much for those southern folks back then. It seemed like they couldn't believe what they were watching.

No kidding. I was dating a North Carolina gal named Sue-Ann who used to say, "Ah jes don't know about y'all yankee boys!" But she loved dancing the grind and climbing into the back seat of my 1950 Ford.

Myrtle Beach was good liberty!
