you nailed it. two major differences though. Mark Davis would not be in a major debt if he had stayed in oakland as he will in vegas,over a billion dollars worth five to ten years down the road.,the fact this is the worst deal and sports history and a horrible deal for vegas and also,a game against the denver broncos in oakland always looked at LEAST like this in the top photo here where VEGAS games will look like the one at the bottom since only tourists will be going to the games which is a major gamble since there is no assurance of that either.

the thing that is just so much idiotic and asinine about the raiders moving to VEGAS of all places is people around here who think this is such a good move for the raiders,obviously fail to understand what the name RAIDERS means and the logo on their helmets.

if they did,they would be up in arms about this as much as I am.the raiders logo on the helmet has a PIRATE with a patch over one eye..Pirates come in from the SEA,pirates are Raiders,theives.Vegas is in the middle of the desert so this is just one more thing that just makes this move the worst move in sports history.


At least when they moved to LA,at least then they were STILL close by an ocean. Being an LA was a joke enough itself for them,this move is even more disasterous for them.people around here who think vegas is such a good fit for the raiders are obviously not thinking.

Then, they discover the great LA/Oakland Raiders (boasting awesome players such as Bo Jackson and Rich Gannon and the inimitable John Madden as coach) suddenly moved to the casino-city of...Las Vegas!

They might write, "For some reason, the Raiders became cannibals, while the Redskins became Christian yuppies!"

Fortunately, a 'rogue archaeologist' does some controversial detective-work and discovers it was the era of free agency (not cannibalism!) that prompted the titanic Raiders-Vegas move.

Excuse me, while I enjoy another episode of 2 Broke Girls (with my girlfriend), enjoy some Pina Coladas, and simply ignore the NFL for a good long while (or at least until Tom Brady retires --- that patriotic Goliath!).
