Have you by any chance noticed that most RW Trumpettes on the Internets are entirely self-made bazillionaires who inherited not one thin dime?
My father grew up on the same mountain as the Hatfields and Mccoys just on the Tenn. side. His parents weren't married---and his mother had a stroke when she was around 30 and died leaving him and his 4 siblings to be raised by an aunt who had 12 kids of her own. 17 children from a very very poor hillbilly family who didn't get government subsidies. Even when he and my mother married---and they both worked, I grew up in a very poor working class family..in fact by the time I was 17, I was supporting him after my parents divorced and he lost his printing business. For many years, even after he died I was dirt poor barely scrapping by until I turned 21 and could work in the casinos making tip money. 30 years later----I've married, raised a family, have grand kids worked and saved and learned--behaved conservatively (atleast fiscally) and now am upper working class.........far different than either of my parents or even their parents. This is the american dream is it not..government hand outs only are a form to enslave..the ideal that so many miss that each generation (if they are good people and not welfare hos breeding for a government check) works to move their children up...those that work for a living will do whatever to help the next generation while welfare socialist/communist hos sit around demanding that the government come save self serving asses. This is why you see so many better off working "conservatives" and so many "conservatives" with jobs---as a group, conservative personalities work to support themselves and move their families up instead of dreaming up ways to get the government to baby them. Conservative personalities like to feel as though they are taking care of their business--liberal ones like to liberate others of the rewards that they worked for.
