Answer this. Why did Shadrach, Mishach, and Abednego not eat meat from the King's table?

I can't even find a reference to that- I assume you refer to the Book of Daniel- where those gentlemen refused to worship a 'false god'?
But it appears from Matthew that if the faithful are asked to do something that is contrary to God's laws- and they refuse- then God will protect them
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednago answered and said to king Nebuchadnezzar: We have no occasion to answer thee concerning this matter. 17 For behold our God, whom we worship, is able to save us from the furnace of burning fire, and to deliver us out of thy hands, O king. 18 But if he will not, be it known to thee, O king, that we will not worship thy gods, nor adore the golden statue which thou hast set up.
So if the Baker is right- and he is not baking the caked so not to break God's law- then God surely will protect the Baker, just as he did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednago
