Hard for far-left hate-speech to be profitable when you can see it everywhere in all of our media sources. It's plastered all over the networks all over cable on HBO and in film. Why do they have to have a radio station that specializes in the subject when you can get it everywhere. The reason right-wing talk shows are profitable is because rarely does their voice get out. So yes, it's no contest.

Aren't we told ad infinitum that Fox News is great because it has the highest ratings and makes the most money? Doesn't the addict Limbaugh pull down 33 million a year to produce far right hate speech? And aren't we constantly told that Beck outsells his competition during his time slots so he must be magnificent too?

Sure. Absolutely! Far right hate speech rarely gets its voice heard.

The recent winn in MA and the people's disenfrenchisement with groups like Air America, which are as fringe as they get, show that the majority of American People are beginning to see that just because somebody voices an opinion doesn't mean we have to support or listen to it.

I didn't listen to much Air America. On occasion I listened to the Thom Hartmann show. I never heard any 'hate' from him. Why don't you provide some examples of all this hate talk on AA?

Air America didn't sell because advertisers spend their money where they feel a return on investment will be greatest. In general, that would not be where a bunch of socialist hang out. With a liberal leaning mass media, many seek to get a more balanced picture of what is going on by listening to conservative radio and TV.

Obviously I'm bias, but for me liberal media spreads nonsense and conservative media attempts to make sense.

I'll never understand how working people can agree with the pro-corporate Right. The pro-corporate right says companies are over regulated. When I hear that, I hear 'let's take the cops off the beat.'

The pro-corporate right hates wage fairness. How's that help the working man's bottom line? the pro-corporate right says regulations concerning workplace and product safety are 'nanny statism'. How's that keep the workers and their neighbors safe?

Pollution controls? The pro-corporate right tells us that there is nothing mankind can do to harm or destroy the planet! How's that square with the folks living next to chemical plants, power generating stations, or in Times Beach Missouri or Love Canal New York?

And now the pro-corporate right tells us that they should maintain the current mess with health care insurance. I'm sure they would want that as the rules as now established, the insurance company can do damn near anything to keep collecting premiums while eroding and denying coverage!

Why on God's green earth do ordinary working people get so enamored with the pro-corporate right? Why, those ordinary folks listen to the propaganda spewed forth by the mouthpieces of the pro-corporate right: Rush, Beck, Fox News, Hannity, Savage et al.

These mouthpieces make the complex simple enough to fit into the head of a non-thinking individual. Someone who does not bother to ferret out the truth, but is willing and able to have their 'thinking' done for them by a bombastic, chicken little wannabe in the guise of what they are told is 'liberty' and 'freedom'. In reality, that 'liberty' is the 'liberty' for corporations to ransack the health and well being of anyone in their way while raking in profits at the expense of the nation and the health of the planet. That 'freedom' is the 'freedom' to lie and obfuscate just to score cheap, tawdry political points.
