Oh man the libs want Eric Adams really bad.....lol

Okay, I realize you think

No, you moron. You don’t realize a fucking thing. Idiots like you don’t speak for me, shit-boi.

You also don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about.

Those are not libs that resigned, they are staunch Conservative Prosecutors, who clerked for Scalia and Roberts and Kavanaugh, and members of the Federalist Society, who began their investigation on Adams long long before Texas shipped the border crossers to NYC.

What Doj did is highly unethical and amounts to a quid pro quo.

If Trump wanted Adams help he should have simply used his own power to pardon him, instead of corrupting the DOJ. Period!

Yeah, but the problem with a pardon is that he has no leverage over Adams afterwards.

Which means Adams could go right back to slow-rolling assistance to ICE (because the NYPD really has better things to do)

It doesn't matter what you think. Your idea of thinking is whatever they are blathering on Hate Radio that day.

Adams was as guilty as a cat in a canary cage. This is why all these career REPUBLICAN prosecutors are quitting in protest.

I know the investigation goes back a way...
I knew that he was already being investigated.
Nobody corrupted the DOJ..... They have a job to do. Part of that job is taking direction from the top. Of course if that doesn't suit you there's always the alternative of leaving. Conservative you say? Hmmmmm now that is interesting.

Probably would have had the same resignations anyway.

Wrong again. But it is an ironic claim coming from a piece of shit like you who blindly obeys what you’re told to do and say what you’re instructed to “believe.”

Because some random shitbag like you says so. No. That’s not how it works, you twat rash. He may have been guilty. But you wouldn’t know.

Nobody cares why they posture for praise from the moron left.

Except historically, the DOJ has always required a certain level of independence from the top.

It's why prosecutions of Hunter Biden went forward even though they were kind of utter bullshit and certainly not what Joe Biden wanted.

If Biden had ordered a stop to Hunter's investigations on the premise he had already paid the tax penalty and the gun had been confiscated, you would be back here screaming bloody fucking murder and you know it.

Yes I can definitely see a problem with the DOJ not being at least 60% autonomous
Not sure how you fix that.

It's a tough comparison because we're talking about the guy's son....

Same way they always have. You appoint an AG who has a certain level of integrity and you let him do his job, even if he annoys you...

Jeff Sessions

Exactly my point. Sessions was a pathetic toady, but he still mostly did his job. Then he got fired and replaced by Barr, who Trump also hated even though the guy was even more of a toady.

Now he's got Bondi, who just does what he wants, no matter how insane or corrupt.
🥱

Vacuous and unsupported opinions like your post exclusively offers don’t make useful posts.

Yes, extremely conservative, and well qualified in their positions prosecuting many many other crimes involved in their highly active SDNY-the Southern District.

It's not suppose to be this way J/O.

Their operational manual strictly guides them to practice Without Fear or Favor. That's what these 7 prosecutors did, followed their instructions....being asked by the president's wood chuck to drop this case, without good cause.....like finding new evidence of exoneration on him etc etc etc and then by the AG....is unethical and a big spit in the face of Without Fear or Favor.

Crooked is, as crooked does....and the crooked is bending the law WITH FAVOR.

And they'll get away with it....the harm done is only at its beginnings with losing these courageous and ethical prosecutors, something hard to find in this day and age.... How can anyone not see that this is harmful to the moral of others too....? sigh.....it's just not right....not good....

This is funny considering how corrupt the Biden DOJ was.

Why?.... It all started when he complained about the immigration crushing New York City's budget.

Or at least that's when it became more well-known. Seems like Eric took a little money here and there that he shouldn't have just like everybody else in New York City and everybody else in New York state. But for some reason Eric got singled out.

Several DOJ prosecutors have resigned saving Trump the trouble of laying them off. Now this is a pretty simple equation. Your boss tells you you're not pursuing the case anymore....
You see it as being wrong but it's not your call.
The new DOJ might be cutting a deal that has benefits for more people than you can see.
You feel like they're abandoning all your hard work so you walk.

Seems to That leftovers from the Garland DOJ are a little bit too focused on GETTING THE GUY and not so focused on who the new boss is.

Why do they want him so bad? Why would you give up your job because of it? These kinds of deals are pretty common especially if there's something in it for the prosecution.
Not just the libs. How about the Scalia-interned prosecutor Trump named that resigned and wrote a public letter why?

Open letter; Danielle Sassoon to Pat Bondi
