I was unaware he wants tax cuts for wealthy people. They only pay almost half of all taxes collected as it is. This is a disgrace and rich people should pay a lot more. I checked with AI and found out you are right. They don't pay enough and if they did deadbeats and shiftless people who didn't pay their dues could live a better life.

Yeah there is plenty of corruption and unethical behavior in big business. A lot of it is because government doesn’t properly regulate business, because the billionaires don’t like regulation and they control government.

How do the vast majority of the wealthy become wealthy? Through greed. That greed comes at the expense of those who aren't wealthy. And for probably 99% of the wealthy, they want to become wealthier. So it isn't absurd to blame all wealthy people. Also, wealthy people can get together and put their money towards electing somebody who will help protect and increase their wealth. That gives them almost as much say in government as billionaires have.

Through legal loopholes or just not reporting their actual income, I'm surprised that the wealthy pay any taxes at all. Sure, the wealthy pay the majority of taxes. But they're the ones with the money. Also, I would like to be able to afford to smoke store bought cigarettes. But I can't afford them. Though a rich person wouldn't even blink at the cost. Also, housing takes up over half of my income. How much of a percentage of a wealthy person's income goes towards housing themselves. I would bet it isn't much.

Another point is that the wealthy don't always pay a higher amount in taxes. I have a couple of graphs for you on that matter.
