That’s true, but the poster didn’t say you won’t end up rich. He said you can work hard and end up with nothing. My point is that if you are responsible, prepare for a career or trade, work hard, and live within your means, you will end up owning a house and having a nest egg. That isn’t “nothing.”

I also have a fairly large number of great nieces and nephews at various stages in their public education and have talked with their parents about it. I have a pretty good idea of what is actually being taught and how it is being taught.
