Oh good! We're making a lot of money!

Apparently it is for you! 😆

Still, your open bigotry is not an argument. It’s just a demonstration of ignorance.

There is a lot to include in this. All of the regulations added. All of the environmental legislation added. All of the benefits legislation added. All of the disability legislation added. All of the safety rules, laws and legislation added. Every vehicle produced has at least several thousand dollars of government mandated pollution and safety equipment in them as an example plus the added taxes built into the vehicle. Remove that. Just an example of Progsclerosis.
If you want to drive e.g. a 2026 Mustang model every day, without all the introduced safety & tec. standards of the last 50 years, go ahead. :auiqs.jpg:

I own a 1974 3.0CSI BMW - for sunny weekends - and otherwise I will take my 2022 BMW 340d x-drive Touring Model.

Trump said "‘When oil prices go up, we make a lot of money"

This is our President who said he would bring gas prices down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oil prices go up, US citizens pay more for gas.
Oil prices go up and big oil companies make a lot of money, because the citizens are paying more for gas.

MAGA - this tells you who side Trump is on, big business. Quit buying his bullshit.

like you never knew this?...come on elmer...

Of course you are, all you ever do is defend trump, you look at people's posts that are critical of trump, his actions or his administration and your mind says "Quick, let me post any old made up nonsense true or false, to defend my idol".

That's it and there are about 33 of you unhinged lunatics here (out of a total membership of 48,000).

You see politics a team sport, a point scoring exercise where you can play "He said, She said" and little more, you're a joke, bereft of intelligence and knowledge, arguing with you clods is like shooting fish in a barrel.
Whereas you're just a total bullshit artist pushing agitprop you know damn well are lies.
You're like a colon: Full of shit. :slap:

NHTSA is where all that comes from. I want a return to simpler vehicles. No, or very limited computerization. All mechanical.

Like horses :auiqs.jpg:
No, like a 1966 Impala. 1973 Camaro. 1971 Ford F100. '85 Chevy 1/2 ton van.
Your foreign ass doesn't know American cars, boy. :1peleas:
I'm talking about vehicles with wings! :laughing0301:
I bet all those had 'em. Maybe not Camaro.

$2.99 here in KS.
3 million people living in Kansas - so honestly, who cares about fuel prices in Kansas?

AI
As of March 13, 2026, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Kansas is
approximately $3.08. While some areas, particularly around Kansas City, have seen prices climb toward $3.49 due to regional supply concerns, Kansas currently maintains some of the lowest fuel costs in the nation.

Colorado 6 million people - not much more then Kansas, but...

AI
As of March 13, 2026, the average price for regular unleaded gasoline in Colorado is approximately
$3.68 per gallon. Prices are higher than last week ($3.23) and significantly higher than last month ($2.81). Denver averages around $3.71,

There you go

BTW:

A 1973 Chevrolet Camaro typically achieves around
10–14 MPG (miles per gallon) for V8 models, with a cruising range of approximately 180–240 miles (Range even worse or just as bad as an EV), on its 18-gallon fuel tank.

A 2025 Camaro

3.6L V6: ~18 MPG city / 29 MPG highway (roughly
6.2L LT1 V8: ~16 MPG city / 24 MPG highway

Not even to mention the totally outdated suspension, no crash standards, shitty brakes and pollution by a 1973 Camaro
