Oh good! We're making a lot of money!

It depends on who the "we" is. Is it the American people? Or is it the oil companies and their shareholders?
It doesn't matter.

He's appealing to the personal greed of the flock, and he knows that will work.

While they struggle to pay for everyday items.

It's vicarious greed he's appealing to, isn't he? That his personal enrichment will redound to them.

The saddest part of this is that these people think they're rich.

Somehow he has them defending something that is destructive to them.

Incredible.

The useful idiots are defending paying more for gas.

They're defending their loved ones paying more for gas.

This is a cult.

I hope you realize those living in Red Run States have normal gas prices and it's blue Run States that have overly taxed and priced gouging inflated gas prices needed to pay for the blue states over spending, poor budgeting, and wasted tax dollars mostly through corruption and fraud and buying votes with tax dollars.
My gas price was 2.92 that went up to 3.16-3.19, If your electric car states are kvetching about gas then ask yourself besides ironic and BS driven, why you voted for Gov's that have your state paying $4-$5 gas way abover the norm?
-oops
Who's the sucker that's deflecting?

Hey moron, the calculation was already done - 1973 US$0.40 equates to US$ 4,00 in 2025 = that's a factor of 10

Ford Mustang in 1973 - starting at around US$ 3000.-
Ford Mustang in 2025 - starting at around US$ 36.000

That would be a factor of 12 - and you can't compare the antique tech standard of a 1973 Mustang with a 2025 Mustang.

The US income in 1973 was around US$ 11.500
The US income in 2025 was around US$ 80,000

That would be a factor of 7

In 1973 the price for a Big Mac was around US$ 0,65
In 2025 the price for a Big Mac was around US$ 5,80

That would be factor of 9

Levis Jeans in 1973 - average US$ 15
Levis Jeans in 2025 - average US$ 90

That would be a factor of 6

Factor 30 :cuckoo: :cuckoo:
There is a lot to include in this. All of the regulations added. All of the environmental legislation added. All of the benefits legislation added. All of the disability legislation added. All of the safety rules, laws and legislation added. Every vehicle produced has at least several thousand dollars of government mandated pollution and safety equipment in them as an example plus the added taxes built into the vehicle. Remove that. Just an example of Progsclerosis.

More like much lower production costs that at least double the inflationary properties , lower relative transporation costs, labor costs, etc., i.e. much higher productivity. It was much more expensive back in the early 1960's and 1970's and wages were much higher relative to today. Plus, looking it up, the prices of Big Macs varied from 45 cents to 85 cents, and Big Macs cost 3 times the prices of average burgers which were around 15 cents back then. That's why they like to use Big MAcs to distort the claims.

That way madness lies, fer shure.

It's a freakish obsession, much like following Faith Hill or the Kardashians.

Parse his formal speechs, his policy statements, and positions. But ginning up a hissy fit over every causual comment, is mentally unhealthy.

I stopped paying attention to the constant stream of quotes in the media, back during the 2000 campaign.

There was a question, where the obvious true answer was, "I can only do so much and that is not going to be my focus".

BUT, the politician couldn't say that. He had to spout bullshit, to coddle the idiot asking the question.

That's was the final nail in the coffiin of my interest in the daily...drip, drip, drip of non-news.

That doesn't make any difference.

The dipshit still said the stupid shit he said.

You people are the easiest marks on the planet.

Low information MAGA.
Yeah, well, that's just the opinion of 2 retarded internet shills, so there's that. :rolleyes-41:
Neither one of you 2 pinheads is as smart as Trump. STFU.

Pay attention to Your Prog socialist Communist feminists. For they are a thousand times worse and the eventual death of western civilization. A huge engine of a useless groups of generational women deep sixing the greatest experiment in human history. You can almost sense that huge male dominated gangs will form as feminists control more and more depending on the security/police state to enforce their dictums. The loss of rights is baked into the cake, and we will be tracked everywhere we go and even need permission to purchase products to survive. Anyone who have been denied in purchasing products or ripped off from the prompting of others knows this and frankly, it is pure karma to us all.
Tho Dysthtopian! :aargh:

When he says "we", he means America, dumbass, not himself personally.
Man, your TDS seems to block the majority of rational thought for you.
:(
Dumb ass yourself. So rising inflation and mass layoffs are making us a lot of money? You are thinking with your head up the orange asshole. The only people making a lot of money are the Epstein class billionaires.
