I went to get some chicken today to make a pot of chicken soup ahead of the storm. First store was out of chicken. People cleaned it out.

I bought the potatoes, onion, garlic, and some rice. I had to go to another store to find some chicken for the chicken soup before this winter storm gets here.

Weather guy says this winter storm is going to "EXPLODE" Sunday night -January 5, 2025. He said several threats, and severe significant outbreaks. Damaging winds, hail, and tornadoes. Maryland will get snow.

No they don't cancel school for cold weather, They do cancel school if there is black ice on the roads. That is too dangerous for the busses. That's not safe for the kids. Safety first.

There will be a ton of school closings next week. Ice will form almost everywhere in several states.
