We have far far far far more guns in this country than we had in the 1930s, yet as you yourself pointed out, we actually have FEWER police being shot and killed each year. Which is exactly the opposite of what you would expect to see if more guns = more police shootings..

Officer death has been increasing. This year off to really bad start.

Gun crime decreased right after we got background checks. Last few years are up.

ALL of the countries which have a higher rate of gun violence than us also have a higher percentage of brown and black people . Most of the ones below us are predominantly white.
