You Lie! Obama increased US Oil production by more & laid more miles of oil pipeline than any president in history!
Your FALSE comment about me allegedly lying, could be either of 2 things. YOU lying, or you being stupid. I'll be generous (as you were not to me), and I'll attribute this to stupidity on your part.
Yes, Obama was, and still is a Muslim jihadist (proven in numerous ways), yes he did approve of middle east oil power (regardless of his US oil production #s), yes middle east oil did control US politics for many years (see
"Secrets of the Kingdom" by Gerald Posner), and yes, Trump turned it around by overtaking Russia as the world's #1 oil producer in June of 2018.
And regarding Obama's flippant comment of >>
"And you know that whole suddenly America’s like the biggest oil producer … that was me, people." NO. Sorry, Barrack. That was NOT you. It was a matter of technological advances, such as fracking and horizontal drilling, enacted by oil producer engineers, not Obama.

it was also a matter of oil pricing. Due to the Arab Spring (which Obama did facilitate), prices spiked up. As Tom Kloza, oil industry analyst and a founder of the Oil Price Information Service, noted >> “
The Arab Spring led to a long period where global crude prices, particularly for light sweet crude, were quite high — $80-$110 bbl generally — and that was plenty of incentive to find crude via more sophisticated (and for some time) expensive fracking techniques.”
Generally, during Obama's terms, it was Congress and the oil industry that deserves the credit for the increase of oil production during that time, but Obama does get some credit, by signing a fiscal 2016 omnibus spending bill that lifted a 40-year-old prohibition on most oil exports, although Obama supported it mostly for its non-fossil fuel content. The legislation
was described in news reports as a bipartisan compromise, with Republicans getting the export ban lifted and Democrats getting extensions on wind and solar tax credits. Obama
signed the legislation on Dec. 18, 2015.
Regarding the pipeline, Obama gets an A and an F. First he supported it, and later, despite positive environmental reviews for the expanded Keystone XL, Obama rejected the XL permit.
Trump
signed executive actions shortly after taking office to move forward with the pipeline’s construction.)
