O'Donnell just as dumb as Palin when it comes to Supreme Court knowledge

she's no dumber than Nancy Pelsoi. and the PEOPLE of Delaware will decide if she is dumb or not.

Like any person is "suppose" to know all the Supreme Court cases.

gawd you people are PATHETIC

It is not we people who are pathetic, it is the organizations that throw us bimbos who's only qualification is they are rich. No wonder we have a splinter group of Tea Baggers!!

is that not the way ALL those political orgs. are?.....hey i got money....vote for me.....

Most people have no clue that the Supreme Court even exists most of the time.

Honestly, Ive been keeping up with decisions and I cant think of any off the top of my head that I disagree with that have been recent. Maybe Lawrence v. Texas. but thats a few years old now too.

If your point is that most Americans are as stupid as she is about Supreme Court decisions you're deadwrong, just accept that she was ill-prepared and lacking on knowledge, besides stupid, angry slogans and rants about socialists, O'Donnell and the rest of the Teabagger scum have nothing to offer.

Ignorance, for whatever reason, is not stupidity. Most people are overly concerned with their own lives and arent following up on every single decision of the Supreme Court.

Not entirely sure what being in the Senate has to do with having instant knowledge of Supreme Court decisions anyway. The Senate doesn't take part of making SC decisions. They just advice and consent to the nominees the President picks.

The beauty of the real world is that you can do research on topics in time of need.

Really? You don't think that a person who's planning on being a senator SHOULDN'T have a working knowledge of what the SC has ruled on, especially those that don't agree with her current positions?

What about the tea baggers and GOP screaming that Obama has been legislating from the bench?

And, considering that she's got a staff (who should pay attention to things like that), you'd think they would have prepared her better.

Especially considering that this was a televised debate, and it would carry a lot of weight with the voters.

All you have in O'Donnell is what you had in the Wasilla Chihuahua turned Momma Gerbil. Someone who looks hot, and if you shine a flashlight in her ear, her eyes sparkle.

You have to remember that the Tea Party considers knowledgeable people to be elitist. Can you imagine a situation where O'Donnell can attack Coons because he went to "Yale"

To be a Tea Party candidate, all you need to do is spout TP one liners. They do not even have to line up with the question being asked

Well my "monkey" friends... like you Bass... this much is clear. like it or not... it is over. The great experiment in absurdity that is Obama is over.

Have a great November!!! Better stock up on the weed and whatever monkeys eat.

Soggy, you sound like you are on weed. Let's review: the GOP may get the house (I think they will now) but without enough votes to do anything other than to obstruct not change the program; the GOP will not get the Senate. The real interest will be to see how many moderate GOP senators work with the Dem majority because the five or six tea party members make the mainstream GOP puke. The experiment of BHO is not over at all and certainly will not be overturned.

Remind me again, which Republican candidates do you in favor?

Obama has not a ******* clue about the Constitution except that it stands in his way

"If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court. I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed people, so that now I would have the right to vote. I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order as long as I could pay for it I’d be o.k. But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the Federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf, and that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, tragedies of the civil rights movement was, um, because the civil rights movement became so court focused I think there was a tendancy to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change. In some ways we still suffer from that." -- President Buckwheat Hussein Obama

it was clear to me.... but if you want to believe otherwise, fine...if you want to start a thread that discusses the idea that someone might in fact think that islands in the middle of the pacific ocean float on the surface, please feel free to do so. This thread is about a senate candidate that was and is the darling of the teabaggers and she doesn't know shit from fat meat when it comes to the United States Supreme Court, and you and the rest of the teabaggers don't seem at all bothered by her ignorance. Can you explain why that is without deflecting? yes or no?

Shit from fat meat? Well, so much for having an intelligent discussion with you.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

running away, I see. Can you or can you not explain why teabaggers don't really CARE if their candidates know anything about SCOTUS?

meh...........

Christine O'Donnell Can't Name Recent Supreme Court Decision She Disagrees With - Video - The Daily Beast

And the idiots in this forum still believes she's well qualified because anything is better than a Democrat, in their minds that is. Pathetic.

I wonder if the same question was asked of her opponent. And to your other point I would take just about anyone over a tax and spend Democrat. :clap2::razz:

Yes, the same question was asked of Coons and he had a cogent reply that he questioned the recent Citizens United campaign finance ruling.

Damn elitist Yale graduate show'n off his book learn'n

Not knowing the minutia of recent SCOTUS decisions will not effect her ability to vote yes or no......Senate votes are not a POP quiz where you either know the answer or you don't. They can do research.......

PS - Calling the Republican candidate "stupid" is not going to work this time......

Sorry Zander...but whether she is called it or not

It is obvious at this point

Unless you consider rote recitation of Tea Party talking points to be stupid

Hey Zander, you can train almost ANYONE to string together a bunch of bumperstickers that sound like a sentence.

Ever heard of a parrot?

She is not stupid but is uninformed. She is not a person that any reasonable person would want in office.

then why does Pelosi get elected time and time again?.....are there not reasonable people in the Frisco area?......look at the stupid things she has said.....

I was talking about O'Donnell, not Pelosi, Harry. That is a whole different kettle. Have you even been to Frisco?

Well, I am not so sure about that, when you compare her to her opponent.

There can be no doubt that Coons will rubber stamp any Spending agenda Obama brings forward.

Charles_Main, I think Coons is the lesser of two poor choices. The conservatives in the Dems and the resolute Republicans will stop excessive spending from here on out.

If you believe that, then your claims to be a Fiscal Conservative are pure BS.

Spending is the most important issue of our time. Who the hell cares what she thinks on silly social issues.

I must disagree, She is the lesser evil in this case. Anyone who will rubber stamp more spending needs to GO!! and GO NOW!!

Nonsense. One picks his fights. The Tea Party cannot be trusted because they are being manipulated by powers that wish to enslave the American worker. I support the concept of lowering taxes but not at the expense of my liberty.
