Zone1 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2022

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at 60
She had a double mastectomy
Reconstructive surgery
Swallowed every pill they gave her
When she died at 69
In hospice
That thing in the bed wasn’t my mother

BTW they lived 500 miles away so Dad had no help

I am convinced that cancer was invented by the devil. Just a horrible disease and humans have to conquer it.

Biden said he would try and conquer it, instead $400B goes to "climate". I don't get it tbh.
I don't believe cancer will ever be completely conquered because of entropy, in other words, our bodies break down as we get older. That said, we can continue to win battles against specific kinds of cancer to extend both the length and quality of life.

I got a mammo last Oct with positive results.
I had two surgeries, a small stroke and weeks of radiation.

I know people, my sister for one, who've had bc worse than mine.

Cancer sucks

I'm backkkkkkkkkkk! :)

Welcome back, MeBelle!! I am glad you are still here.

My sweetie is a breast cancer survivor. Luckily it was caught very early, so she just has a couple of scars. But the chemo was rough on her.
