Why do so many on the Left hate their country? Is it only all about Class Envy? I never understood that mentality. Protesting the "Evil Rich" and "Evil Businesses" is fine with me but i don't get all the hate for their own country. I've protested in the past but i never wavered in my love for my country. The Left is losing a lot of support because of all their Anti-American wingnuts. I can't support them.

I would like to see hard statistical data rather than cherry picked anecdotes filled with mentally unstable losers. My experience has been that each party loves and hates certain things about America. Be careful confusing your vision of America with America itself and then accusing those who disagree of hating America.

For instance, when I criticized the Iraq War, I was accused of hating America. This would be like me accusing you of hating America because you criticized Social Security.

Fascism holds one vision of the country. Democracies give people the freedom to choose what they like and dislike, love & hate.

Without the freedom to dissent, there is no freedom.

I listened to Noam Chomsky years ago give a speech about how much he loved the America of Martin Luther King and Susan B Anthony, specifically the America that permits struggles and victories for equality. He praised the American people for their ability to bring about change. But he also hates elements of our foreign policies as much as the Right hates elements of FDR's domestic policies.

In a free country, each person is allowed to choose what they love about this country, and each party is allowed to identify what they want to change. Be careful saying that there is only one true America, and that all of us must love what you love, hate what you hate. I'm begging you good sir: have the courage to support the freedom of those who disagree. Those who bully people with patriotism are following a well known historical model, one that is the opposite of freedom ... (respectfully)

I don't bully anyone. They have the right to free speech but "**** the U.S.A." does disturb me and i have the right to speak out against that kind of ugly rhetoric. There has to be a more decent way to protest those "Evil Rich" and "Evil Businesses." The Left/Democrats do have big problem with their wingnuts. Most Americans cannot support their causes because of this stuff. I'm all for protesting but i'm not for this kind of hateful ignorance. That's how i see it anyway.
