Perhaps if we called it Communism, or Marxism it would be more accurate?

“I think he’s, you know, he’s worried about the good ideas like Medicare for all and taxes on the wealthiest and a green new deal and he wants to paint it as socialism,” she told reporters.

Truth hurts, maybe? What kind of nonsense statement is this? Aren’t all of these elements of socialism? Do they have problems with truth in advertising on the DemonRAT side??

Progressive Democrats accused President Trump of engaging in scare tactics for his warning in the State of the Union address about new calls for socialism in the United States.

“I thought it was great. I think he's scared,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) told reporters when asked about Trump’s remarks. “He sees that everything is closing in on him and he knows that he's losing the battle of public opinion.”

Ocasio-Cortez is a democratic socialist who has soared to political fame following her victory in a Democratic primary last summer. She has joined other liberals in the House in calling for a single-payer health care system and has also voiced support for higher marginal tax rates on the wealthiest households, as well as the “Green New Deal” that would fund programs to create clean energy jobs.

The New York lawmaker described Trump’s comments as “fabulous” and said he “has no substantive proposals to counter.”

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), a co-chair of the Progressive Caucus, argued the group’s proposals aren’t extreme, noting a number of them have been implemented in countries in the Western world.

“I think he’s, you know, he's worried about the good ideas like Medicare for all and taxes on the wealthiest and a green new deal and he wants to paint it as socialism,” she told reporters.

“And I think he's worried and he wants to paint it as socialism, but these are actually policies that every industrialized country in the world almost has instituted and built their societies on.”

Conservatives have been doing it for years. “Socialism” changes meaning for them even more often than “RINO” does.

A couple of intellectual powerhouses that don't know that the bandwagon fallacy isn't an argument.

The bug eyed TARD finally got something right...

Government stealing the profits of production, rather than straight up owning the means of production is still socialism.

“A President Trump Could Destroy the World Economy",
headline of Washington Post editorial, October 2016

“Wall Street is set up for a major crash if Donald Trump
shocks the world on Election Day and wins the White House.”
Ben White, Politico, October 2016

Citigroup: “A Trump Victory in November
Could Cause a Global Recession",
Bloomberg Financial News headline, August 2016

“Trump would likely cause the stock market to crash
and plunge the world into recession."
Simon Johnson, MIT economics professor,
in The New York Times, November 2016.

“Under Trump, I would expect
a protracted recession to begin within 18 months.
The damage would be felt far beyond the United States."
Former Clinton and Obama chief economist Larry Summers, June 2016

“If Trump wins we should expect a big markdown
in expected future earnings for a wide range of stocks —
and a likely crash in the broader market”
Eric Zitzewitz, former chief economist at the IMF, November 2016

“It really does now look like
President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging.
When might we expect them to recover?
A first-pass answer is never…
So we are very probably looking at
a global recession, with no end in sight."
Paul Krugman of the New York Times the day after the election

“I have no stocks.
I advise people not to invest in the stock market, not now.
Way too dangerous."
Film maker Michael Moore, August, 2017

Trump's policies would cause "Armageddon" for family finances,
the American economy, and the stock market.
House minority leader Nancy Pelosi

I’m sorry...what are we talking about again?

Oh yeah, scare tactics

That’s why banks were ‘too big to fail’
Not because it would plunge the country
into the next Great Depression....

Because it would force people
to pull their head out of their ass

Because there would have to be accountability

Because these mother fuckers would be history
I think he’s, you know, he’s worried about the good ideas like Medicare for all and taxes on the wealthiest and a green new deal and he wants to paint it as socialism,” she told reporters
I don’t think, I know...
The corrupted establishment was worried about...
an outsider on the inside, disrupting their facade
Someone they can’t control...but, more so,
how to reign in renegade voters, that have had it

Looks like alot of influential people are kissing Trumps ring outta sight.
So, when is Muellers report forthcoming, when is he getting impeached?
Anti-Trumpers are the stupidest of Muppets....

Mini-Maduro and her pro-terrorist harem are gonna get crushed.
They better enjoy their limited limelight while they can.

So now “socialism “ and “communism “ are interchangeable?

Ocasio-Cortez, progressives accuse Trump of using socialism as scare tactic

Well, they DID look scared last night, eh? :auiqs.jpg:

What I noticed when they put the camera on her is she kept leaning over and talking to the woman next to her with a very confused look on her face; like she was asking questions. Yes, that is her natural look, but I think she was expecting to see a movie instead of a SOTU speech.

So now “socialism “ and “communism “ are interchangeable?

They have been since the 1950s, with Communism winning the prize as encompassing all things Marxist.

"The goal of socialism is communism."
- Vladimir Lenin
