What is it about the idea of wealth and it's aquisition that makes otherwise rational people do things one could consider immoral, if not unethical?
Think of the things the philosophy(s) associated with wealth has had good people do:
US claims on western lands held bt native people's. Nazi Germany's design's on eastern land for the new race, the Papal crusades, mani's obsession with an identity that equals 'making IT' with 'wealth' of some sort, the list is endless, but I think people will understand what I mean by wealth.
