What if Obama's people are poisoning Clinton? What if by the time Nov rolls around she is too sick (or even dead) to remain in the race? Scrambling for another candidate would be tough and Obama's Plan to remain in power unfolds?
First I want to say I don't believe any of this, Clinton will be fine, Obama will transition power, even to Trump and Democracy will be alive and well in 2017.

(2) In early Nov she takes a turn for the worst and can't continue to run.
(3) The Dem's scramble for a replacement
(4) Obama decides that a replacement can't be selected that quickly and he suspends the election infinitely.
(5) The right goes bonkers and you see violent protests. Many are lead by Trump himself. Trump and many legislatures are arrested and the protests heat up.
(6) Obama declares "in order to avoid a civil war, he is enacting Martial Law and will resume elections when we have clam."
(7) Calm never comes, but Obama's seizure of power continue. He bypasses Congress and forces Alito,'Roberts and Thomas to retire (Ginsburg goes on her own). He selects 5 crony judges to the bench without a Congressional hearing. Then there is a great purge against lower court judges.
(8) The military is purges further with untimely accidents, missing people and trumped up charges. The military is controlled be cronies.
(9) An economic hit the economy occurs, so he seize taxing and spending powers from Congress. He taxes and spend where he sees fit, without any input from Congress or backlash from voters.
(10) A major mass shooting occurs. Obama passes an executive order requiring a special near impossible to obtain license to own a firearm and requires gun confiscation. Local police resist the order to seize lawful owned guns. Obama disbands state and local police forces with a highly militarized federal police force.
(11) Obama suspends the 4th and 5th amendments. The Patriot Act get revised in secret. Surveillance occurs with the necessity of warrant and probably cause is not required for a search. Grand judge indictments are no longer necessary, public or speedy trials can easily be suspended. Double jeopardy can be overcome and your property can be seized without compensation.
