I was an instant lights-out B-52s fan when they first came out, and have at least their first two albums, which, BTW, were incredibly well-recorded too. I think I have their 3rd album as well. But their first two albums were just killer on a big sound system, and I never even tried to categorize their type of music, I just knew I was into it. It was just so fresh, hot, sexy, and full of energy.

My son and I were driving the other day, and I had the radio on a classic rock station and this song came on. At first, he asked me what I was listening to, and then he recognized the song, but couldn't name the band, so I had to help him!
