Obama's Attempt to Define Extremism for Political Purposes

. Obama has made it a point to bring up Christians when discussing radicalized religions, though still won't bring up Islam in the same light.

Complete and utter nonsense.

But we also see faith being twisted and distorted, used as a wedge -- or, worse, sometimes used as a weapon. From a school in Pakistan to the streets of Paris, we have seen violence and terror perpetrated by those who profess to stand up for faith, their faith, professed to stand up for Islam, but, in fact, are betraying it. We see ISIL, a brutal, vicious death cult that, in the name of religion, carries out unspeakable acts of barbarism -- terrorizing religious minorities like the Yezidis, subjecting women to rape as a weapon of war, and claiming the mantle of religious authority for such actions.

We see sectarian war in Syria, the murder of Muslims and Christians in Nigeria, religious war in the Central African Republic, a rising tide of anti-Semitism and hate crimes in Europe, so often perpetrated in the name of religion.

So how do we, as people of faith, reconcile these realities -- the profound good, the strength, the tenacity, the compassion and love that can flow from all of our faiths, operating alongside those who seek to hijack religious for their own murderous ends?

Remarks by the President at National Prayer Breakfast The White House

Yes... The Left is the manifestation of evil. The same evil of which ISIS and Islam, on the whole, are comprised.

They lie, because that is the singular tactic of evil.

For instance... if Bawney Fwank had begun selling 'Urban Redevelopment' as a terrific means to cause a run on mortgages, causing a prolonged spike in the value of real estate until the values rise beyond the means of the market to sustain such, summarily causing the collapse of the international financial markets... he would not have had to spend 3 decades causing the catastrophic collapse of the international financial markets. Because he'd have been kicked to the political curb the moment he convinced people that he was literally promoting their support for their own destruction.

Same with the black community... if Johnson and the Democrats had told them that in just one generation, their families would be torn asunder, their children imprisoned and addled in drugs and alcohol... "The Great Society" would not have been passed and the US would not be 18 trillion in debt.

And that's why Deceit, FRAUD and Ignorance are the fundamental elements of Left-think.

Wow Where_r_my_Keys
just substitute BUSH for LEFT
and you have the rant I just heard on Friday
of people convinced the opposition to Obama were all evil racists
who let Bush get away with trillions and trillions of govt waste.

No wonder they hate each other so much.
This is like Muslims and Hindus fighting.

And somehow convincing half the nation that
it's the other group that's so evil....

Really?

So, Evil was claiming that a principled position pointing out the nature of evil, is EVIL!?

Well, that's sounds about right, of course. That's what evil does... .

In fact, Islam has long made that claim about the Hindus. And we know that in each of those claims, that Islam was in fact the one attacking and murdering millions of Hindus... toward the pursuit of conquering the Hindus, in their quest to re-establish the Caliphate.... thus, Islam is the embodiment of evil.

It it helps, I too witness such drivel quite frequently... wherein the Ideological Left claims to be on the side of 'right', fighting the good fight. Then I recall that it's the Left who is Advocating for the Normalization of Sexual Abnormality, and which claims a "RIGHT" to murder children "IN THE WOMB!", as a rationalization to promote sexual intercourse sans RESPONSIBILITY ... .

Observations from which I rest assured that 'you shall know them by their fruit...' has once again provided the trust of a global compass, lighting my path on the journey to know the truth.

LOL! So where you were denying the claim that obama never speaks ill of Islam, while Routinely speaking ill of Christians, you sought to cite comments where obama was rejecting any connection to Islam in citing mass-murder perpetrated by Muslims, in the name of the Prophet... in keeping with the teachings of the Prophet.

Now THAT is ADORABLE!

We now have lefties out there claiming that Christians or Republicans are extremists. Obama has made it a point to bring up Christians when discussing radicalized religions, though still won't bring up Islam in the same light. The media is apparently covering up the mass murders committed by Christians.

ISIS is evil. As the article points out, to say they are extremists would mean there is a moderate version of ISIS or al Qaeda or any other group that routinely and savagely murders people so easily. There isn't. You either denounce them or defend them. Embrace evil or fight it because you cannot reason with it.

The left recently is trying to claim that there is a problem with Christian or rightwing terrorists in the U.S. Of course, the liberal media is always at the ready to sound the alarms when there is a tea party or NRA meeting and they must be ever so disappointed when those meetings don't end in a blood bath. How many times have they predicted doom and yet nothing happened? Meanwhile, there were numerous crimes, including rape, assault, theft and murder at the Occupy Wall Street protests and the liberals looked the other way. Then there was the mess, the big stinky mess that was OWS.

Obama wants to label opponents as extremists. Why? Because then government can go after them. Right now the plan is to simply point fingers to make people uncomfortable and gin up some fear of anyone standing firm on 2nd Amendment rights or those who think government is gaining too much power. You know, enemies of the state who still value and exercise their freedom of speech. Voicing opinions that differ from the narrative being pushed in Washington is now something that could land you on DHS's watch list.

As the left charges that ex-military, Libertarians and gun owners are far rightwing extremists, they are trying to downplay the threat posed by the real extremists who continue to slaughter anyone who is different from them. The Obama administration certainly gives the impression that the terrorists are misguided poor people who are either jealous or pushed over the edge by something we've done. What are their demands? Convert or die. Gosh, only another extremist could see that as a legitimate grievance. They keep yelling that Islam will control the world someday. They are coming for us, they say. And yet, we are the extremists for not wanting to lay down and take whatever those degenerates have to dish out.

Politics Obama s sinister attempt to criminalize extremism Best of Cain

"The Great Society" would not have been passed and the US would not be 18 trillion in debt.

And that's why Deceit, FRAUD and Ignorance are the fundamental elements of Left-think. One can't be 'honest' and a Leftist... just as one can't be honest and Muslim.

And this is because honesty run diametrically opposed to one's goals.

You left out Bush getting 4000+ Americans needlessly killed in Iraq.

You left out Bush Sr. causing 9/11.

Oh! You're assigning the responsibilities of Iraq and Islam... to Bush?

HEY! You know who else does that? Islam...

Now you claim to be a US Citizen, right?

So... folks, even as we speak there is a thread on this very site, lamenting the internment of Japanese Foreign Nationals at the onset of WW2, here in the US... and HERE... IN THIS THREAD is a BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED example of WHY the US needed to intern those people whose loyalty to the United States was doubtful... due to their having been born in foreign nations or born to those who were born in foreign nations.

Do you see how that works?

Their perspective is skewed... and because of that, they prefer to believe that which is false, because the truth does not serve their own, subjective needs.

The American left is either a secular cult or a terrorist front has yet to be determined.

Their views constitute political beliefs and their mandates under ACA declared "the law of the land by them"
is a political religion with forced compliance and tithing by tax penalties.

by a group that declares prochoice and separation of church and state except when it comes to their beliefs.

as for terrorism, I think Hillary Clinton running for President may be more frightening than Obama.
Frankly I would hold Democrats to have to fix the messes with ACA before running any candidate for President again.
Prolife lobbies are expected to fund their own agenda and political beliefs instead of imposing mandates everyone has to follow.
so shold the right to health care through federal govt only be mandatory for those who believe in that.
the rest of us who believe this violates Constitutional laws and rights should have free exercise of our beliefs equally
instead of being penalized and terrorized which is discrimination by creed, masked by secular appearance of law.

Like Islam... The Ideological being set upon their own subjective needs, can only produce chaos, calamity and catastrophe. Where they find power, the ensuing calamity requires that they demand greater power, which brings greater calamity, which requires more power to resolve... and so it goes until the host culture is consumed.

Such is the nature of the parasite... its existence is a threat to the viability of that which sustains it.

Uh... False.

Because obama was denying that ISIS IS ISLAMIC... which is ludicrous.

Find a nation wherein Islam exists in any meaningful numbers and where it is not at war with that nation....

Here's how that works:

OH! But what about "Moderate Islam"...

Hi Where_r_my_Keys
For people who just see it secularly, if they focus on the INNOCENT women children and civilians killed by the destruction,
they see needless collateral damage that was outside the bounds of DUE PROCESS and only going after the terrorists.

Unfortunately that's why the terrorists chose to hide among civilians.
Because these people don't follow due process, but attack and hide,
they get innocent people killed.

The only way I can explain to the Left,
about why we need to enforce Due Process and other Constitutional laws in order to prevent this,
is to EQUALLY point out where it DOES lead to violations such as "collective punishment" of innocent citizens.

So of course I equally acknowledge and include that innocent lives were lost due to the destruction in Iraq.
That is still wrong also, by the same Constitutional laws I am trying to enforce consistently.

So if these Leftist want to go after restitution for all the American and Iraqi people,
for debts and damages caused by collateral damage outside due process of laws,
why not. Why not demand credits back for these costs to taxpayers, issue the
credits through the Federal Reserve, and fund health care reforms and rebuilding of hospitals
schools and treatment facilities with all that money instead of "punishing taxpayers" as more collateral damage
by charging us even more money than we've already paid. Why take it out of our paychecks;
if the gripe is against military contracts given to corporate crooks, then go after the corporate crooks and make
them pay it back. In the meantime, credit back the taxpayers for the trillions of unauthorized charges,
and let us use that "available credit" to cover health care reforms for Vets and general population.

Go for it, instead of charging us more money on top of these protested costs

But then there was: "But they're not Islam... they're terrorists!"

But, hey... Let's be honest this is the same clown who declared that “Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding...", which is also a profound deceit, fraudulently advanced as a means to influence the ignorant, such as yourself.

1. What is unfair is separating "Islam from terrorists/Jihadists" while not separating "Christians from Hitler/crusades"
if you are going to throw the Crusades in with the peaceful Christians,
then you cannot argue when people throw in the Jihadists with the peaceful Muslims.

2. as for integrating principles from Islam, some people believe these came from Islam:
A. free exercise of religion, which isn't in the Bible, but some people cite Mohammad's decree
that there is "no compulsion in religion" and SURA 109 about respect each other's ways
B. natural laws of government that came from God

Note: I have found that both Christians and Muslims have this tradition of
C. respect for civil authority and government, that you respect the laws of the nation and governing authority

Where I find people make mistakes with this is they assume
that if you take over control of govt, then you can legislate the laws you believe in and
get rid of the rules you wish to denounce. But this is NOT how it works, given the Constitutional structure of US govt, where you cannot just mandate the beliefs you support, but have to respect the beliefs of others, due process, and equal representation and protection of the laws for all others, not just your beliefs.

Right now politicians with the parties keep promising their constituents they will smash the other side and will push for their own agenda. But this is in violation of Constitutional principles and ethics to override beliefs of other people or parties with your own.

THAT is the problem, and it leads to political bullying and oppression regardless which group is doing that.

So that is where we need to all agree to unite and use the Constitution
as the check against such abuses of private interests, agenda and beliefs.

Even Lakhota cited enforcing the Constitution and not letting it be superseded with
religion, particularly Old Testament invocation of authority of God.

So here you have two liberals agreeing that the US Constitution should
be enforced to check against religious abuses of political power.

This should be seen as a miracle from God in itself!

RE:

Dear BlindBoo NOTICE the very carefully crafted wording to be diplomatic:
"profess to stand up for Islam"
You can "profess" to stand up for God and the Bible like Hitler did and not be Christian.
You can "profess" to stand up for Islam, and not be Muslim but Jihadist/terrorists.

Indeed, the same way people will say Hitler was NOT Christian but clearly abusing the Bible to commit genocide.
People will say terrorists/Jihadists are NOT Muslim but clearly abusing Islam and govt to commit genocide.

Thus this falls in line with the spin on this as: "They're not Islam, they're terrorists"
==============================

Dear BlindBoo and Where_r_my_Keys
If you want to show where Obama comes across as downplaying the issues:

1. White House Avoids Mentioning That 21 Beheaded Christians Were Christians CNS News

the take on this attack was presented as terrorists killing innocent people for their religion,
to AVOID presenting it as Jihadists against Christians or Muslims against Christians.
The point was not to incite further antagonism of Christians against Muslims, and to focus on terrorism regardless.
but in fact this caused more distress because it appears to be apologizing and ignoring the Muslim references.

2. 2009 Fort Hood shooting - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

On November 5, 2009, a mass murder took place at Fort Hood, near Killeen, Texas.[1]Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major andpsychiatrist, fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others.[2][3] The shooting produced more casualties than any other on an American military base.[4][5] Several individuals, including Senator Joe Lieberman,[6] General Barry McCaffrey,[7] and others have called the event a terrorist attack.[8][9] The United States Department of Defense and federal law enforcement agencies have classified the shootings as an act of workplace violence.[10]

This was particularly insulting and alarming, injurious and damaging to the families and community
because of how this attack was downplayed.

Given this context, that's why Obama isn't trusted to be either objective or on the side of America,
but reinforces the appearance of being either sympathy or downright allegiance to the Muslim faith.

If Obama has been trying to compensate for how Bush went too far to the right (and the REAL religious right would disagree,
because they attacked Bush as being too inclusive of Muslims and thought he didn't go far enough),
he has clearly swung so far the other way, that he missed the target which is to stay centered on the Constitution.
