Instead of punishing the elderly, many of whom are subsisting on $2000 a month and have no way to earn more, let’s get the bulk of welfare recipients into full-time jobs. The problem is we don’t have enough people working due to generous welfare.

Honestly - Mamdani is using the same tactic today in NYC. He took over a city with BAD budget deficits, but wants to INCREASE spending by a whopping $12-$15 BILLION. Only way he can do that is a mass influx of money from the state - and using "tax the rich" fantasy to do it. His threats to raise property taxes and raid pension funds to finance his social spending is designed to fail - so he can blame the state and create outrage by the public to - tax the rich and increase social spending massively.

So YOUR elected government is who are the ones who are at fault, not the people who were promised a benefit for 'fronting' their hard earned cash with a 'guaranteed' return.

It gave coverage to some by raising costs on most other people.

He was basing it, in large part off of Ezekiel Emanuel's book, Complete lives....

It also advocated to lessen Health Care to our older citizens, and let them just die....Nice huh?
