Obviously this poll was just released to set off fusses and cause friction of some kind...but the method and wording of this poll is just plainly misleading. It's sad people are taking this so seriously.

First off people are saying a "majority" in the poll named Obama the worst president, no, it was only 33% that did, the poll and ad titles both state "plurality" not majority.

But more importantly...the results of the vote of both "best" and "worst" can be summed up by Republicans all swarming the same president for both "best" and "worst" (Reagan and Obama). Yes, that's pretty much it, except GW Bush getting second worst by the Democrats ganging up on him a bit.

Democrats in the poll largely split their vote for best between 3 different presidents (Clinton, Kennedy, Obama) and split the "worst" with Nixon and GW. Bush, with Bush getting the lion's share.

Here's the breakdown:

35. Thinking about the United States Presidents we have had since World War II: Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Senior, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, which one would you consider the best president?

-----------------Total---Rep---Dem---Ind

John Kennedy-----15----6-----18-----17
Ronald Reagan----35-----66-----6-----36
Bill Clinton---------18----3-----34-----16
Barack Obama-----8-----4-----18-----2

Reagan got a huge surge from Republicans (big surprise...) while Democrats were more divided between Clinton, Kennedy, Obama, and a few others like LBJ.

36. Which of these twelve presidents we have had since World War II would you consider the worst president: Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Senior, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush or Barack Obama?

--------------Tot----Rep----Dem----Ind

Richard Nixon-----13-----5-----20-----14
Jimmy Carter------8------14-----1-----9
George W. Bush--28-----5-----54-----23
Barack Obama----33-----63-----4-----36

Once again...Republicans all flock to Obama for worst, nearly as much as Reagan for best, and Democrats are divided between Nixon and GW Bush.

This poll does not hold anywhere near as much weight as one would think.

I didn't realize Truman WAS a choice as the word "since" was used, Truman was a President during the last few months. That changes my rankings.

Yes this fuzzy "logic" has been posted all over the far left blog o sphere.

Simple fact is you can not handle backing someone worse than Bush, then that is your problem and not anyone else's.

Now if you would just grow and admit you were wrong to back worse than Bush, then maybe there will be hope for you.

So you're saying the poll is as intelligent as those who voted for Obama? Yeah maybe.

It has an eerie similarity to how faux news is always the most watched news network....Republicans really do have a weird herd mentality.....

I think you need to focus more on your indy vote. You are putting too much into dem and repub when it comes to who disapproves of Obama. Dems and Pubs are too partisan to put much faith in hoping they don't vote party lines IMO.

From your link:

59% of Indys disapproved of Obama right now. And 41% of indy''s voted Obama worse than Bush. 53% of indy's state he is not trustworthy. All the other votes in those categories' for indy's were spread thin over all the choices, except when it came to voting Obama as a bad president, worse than Bush and untrustworthy.

The batfinks are losing their marbles.

Look at the "Ind" number and maybe you can figure it out.

You get the same result...left leaning independents divided...right leaning independents (tea partiers) swarm the same two targets.

"Obama worst Pres" Poll is Retarded...

The poll isn't retarded.

What's retarded is all the gullible kool-aid drinking shit-for-brains liberal Obama supporters who will proudly stand by Obama defending him, making excuses for him and blaming others, all the while ignoring facts about anything that makes Obama look bad. :cuckoo:

Poll of those that don't know US history from ham & cheese. Most probably skipped that class in high school, if they made it TO high school.

A retard like you can't understand the poll.
