Surveillance Intelligence WAS used in that storm of a ONE HUNDRED leaks attributed to "anonymous high level intelligence sources".. That's where it all came from. So there WAS SURVEILLANCE. Even Susan Rice and Clapper ACKNOWLEDGE that. But they are lying when they said they had warrants. They had a BLANKET warrant under the PATRIOT Act 702 provision. But that's only SUPPOSED to cover domestic terrorism. Which is also a big lie. Because it HAS been used in other criminal investigations.

Don't be a denier. One party used the powers of the State and ABUSED Domestic Surveillance to spy on their opposition. They needed a huge EXCUSE to do that.

HOWEVER -- the OP is not completely right. This meeting was only ONE excuse for them to conduct their Intel insurgencies. There are many other EXCUSES. MOST of which are shot down by now. So they keep PUMPING EXCUSES so that the spying can be argued as justified..

TRUTH: Section 702 collection can only be directed against specific foreign targets outside the United States. It does not allow for bulk collection.

Don't NEED the fucking PATRIOT Act to "intercept I-Net comm. flowing to or from the US". Relying on general public stupidity here. Because NSA ALWAYS HAD WARRANTLESS permission to do that as part of their regular "FOREIGN surveillance" programs.

In fact, Snowden enlightened us all about how easy it was to snoop DOMESTIC I-Net comm. All they have to do is to have google RELAY the days stored content over to their MIRROR SITES in England and France overnight. Once that's done, the NSA could paw thru it relentlessly..

Get real. Since "metadata" and 2005, A LOT has changed and been revealed. For instance, SINCE 2005 there is a brand new CITY in MiddleofNowhere Utah built for the NSA to collect and STORE everything. When you get past the "Excuses", you'll find that 90% of politicians on Cap Hill will support Domestic Spying program to death. Because it's so USEFUL for "collecting things".. And sweeping up damn near EVERYTHING in electronic comm every hour of every day...
