Everybody got a tax break. Everybody benefited. The early recession of Bush's first term which was inhereted from the Clinton administration was cut short. The economy benefited. The markets benefited. Government revenues went up. Employment went up. Unemployment went down. Real wages went up. The early inflationary threat was overcome. Bush's tax cut was a win/win for everybody. Well everybody except Democrats who like to increase taxes and tell everybody that tax cuts are bad.AND AGAIN the 15% tax bracket did NOT GET A 2% REDUCTION for their entire income bracket.............please look it up!!!!!

But really, even if there was a variation in the amount between different brackets, what would you think would be the most reasonable response? To eliminate Bush's tax cuts altogether as Democrats have been threatening to do? Or to reduce those taxes even more for the uneven brackets? Well obviously when looking at all of the benefits of Bush's tax cuts the proper response is to lower them more, especially with a weak economy. But what do the Democrats want to do? They want to tax the hell out an economy that is already staggering! Tell me how that makes sense...
