This event is exactly the opposite of what is needed.

There are no spending cuts. There are decreases in the planned spending increases.

Only an idiot like Bam Bam calls a smaller increase a cut.

The Obama administration denied an appeal for flexibility in lessening the sequester’s effects, with an email this week appearing to show officials in Washington that because they already had promised the cuts would be devastating, they now have to follow through on that.

In the email sent Monday by Charles Brown, an official with the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service office in Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Brown asked “if there was any latitude” in how to spread the sequester cuts across the region to lessen the impacts on fish inspections.

He said he was discouraged by officials in Washington, who gave him this reply:

“We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.”​

Blair gets paid $96,725 per year on your tax dollars. Patricia Blair also has two deputies being paid with your tax dollars Debra Brown who is paid $85,953 per year Richard Muffler, who is paid $94,372 per year. That’s $277,050 right there that can be cut from the budget. Nah, makes too much sense. BTW, can someone also explain why Patricia Blair’s female deputy is paid less than the male?

We spend roughly $500 billion per year on our entire military. We spend roughly $1 trillion per year on bull shit Social Security (food stamps, welfare, medicaid, etc.).

Now, defense is a constitutuional responsibility of the federal government. While "social security" is not any responsibility of the federal government.

Considering we spend twice as much on an illegal, unconstitutional program as we do a legal, constitutional program, I'd say it's obvious we just shut down the social bullshit and in 16 years our entire debt will be paid off.
