He doesn't want Israel to defend their country before election day. Now he doesn't want Europe to make a decision about Greece until after the election.

American officials are understood to be worried that if they decide Greece has not done enough to meet its deficit targets and withhold the money, it would automatically trigger Greece's exit from the eurozone weeks before the Presidential election on 6 November.

We are Greece, so if Greece's financial excesses should lead to exit, really expulsion, Americans would have a clearer idea of what obama is really doing here.
