Who started the fighting and chaos? The news I have read has said Trump supporters were very very angry about it being called off and the Protesters were jumping up and down, cheering in glee that they shut down Trump's rally, BUT WHO started the fighting, the physical fighting? I haven't found that in the news either...
I did read that angry Trump supporters BEFORE the announcement that the rally was called off, grabbed and tore up the signs that some protesters had....but have not read who started the fighting AFTER the announcement?

What kind of shit? Don't exercise ones right to free speech and to peaceably assemble? any one throwing punches or grabbing someone elses property and ripping it up, is wrong to do so, either side.
So if I went to a bernie rally and started screaming,yelling and basically making a nuisance of myself that wouldnt be considered starting shit?
This was in 'protest' was it not? No one protesting is going to keep their mouths shut or speak in a soft, innocent sounding Marilyn Monroe voice, or raise a sign that is in support of whom they are protesting?
Also, this was before The Donald had announced he was not going to show... though I am certain they would have continued if Trump did show up!!!
But to answer your question about a Bernie protest at one of his rallies and would I like it...no, of course not if he were up on the stage trying to speak.
HOWEVER, never in a million years could I imagine any of Bernie's supporters tearing the protester's signs out of their hands and ripping the protester's property up right in front of them, or sucker punch a protester that was already being escorted out of the event, by the police, or pushing and shoving and bullying one of the protesters at this Bernie event....
What would happen is Bernie's crowd would call on security or the police to remove the protesters and they would be escorted out of the event in an orderly manner, if they were interrupting him to where he could not speak or be heard.
I'm still not convinced that only one side started the assaults, it was a big crowd and maybe there were many things going on and happening throughout different spots the arena....
I do not think assault or battery is the means of shutting people up.
Protests are with your voice or signs,
Riots are with battery and assault.
