You question another’s math.

Just wanted to point out what a colossal moron you are when it come to math.

HTH, moron.
Are you capable of staying on topic?

The number of 80,000 is consistent with the previous year and makes the point that drug deaths still pale in comparison with other American addictions like alcohol and smoking.

Stop moving the goal posts
I haven’t moved a thing. Drug deaths are likely down from 2024.

Note, again, these are necessarily preliminary numbers.

And the reason overdose deaths are down last year is almost certainly related to the efforts of President Trump and his Administration.

WTF is the matter with you?

The post was about drug deaths being less than smoking and drinking
Who gives a fuk about preliminary?

And you definitely made up your own mind about the pardon for Juan Orlando Hernandez.

Or is that still on the “I don’t want to think about it” pile?
Not necessarily, it's more complicated than that....For example, here is a good article explaining what the possible motivations could be....If you care to read...

Who actually cares about the relative death figures for controlled substances vs those for legal products?

It’s an entirely different discussion to claim that we should once again dabble in prohibition of alcohol.

Now share with us (if you can) what THAT discussion has to do with the actual topic of this thread, Leftwhiner.

Again, remember that pendulum...:)
Normally I'd agree with you about that, IF democrats had done their deep dive as to why they lost in 24, and applied it...But, they didn't. In fact they voted to shelf the autopsy, and continue to double down on what American's already said they wanted nothing to do with...And you think that's a winning strategy....So, the pendulum swung, and is now stopped, and taped to the right side, because you idiots want to keep championing all of the wrong things...So dumb.

Are you capable of staying on topic?
Short answer with that one....no. :)

Run, duck, hide..and then scream "I'm Right!!"....It's been a trend on this board since the Spring of 2024 when You Know Who thrust himself back into the public spotlight to become a cancerous lesion on the country...again. :)

What it shows is our tendency towards addiction both legal and illegal
And no, it is not Venezuelas fault

Why of course not.....Ya know, That prettly little blonde is always teasing me when we make out, so, one night I just took it, and she was saying no, but I took it anyway...It's not my fault, she was teasing me....

Pathetic.

People can get drunk without being addicted. So, your “argument”’shows no such thing.

And your entire off-topic conversation about other addictions remains utterly beside the topic of this thread.

I like this article. Here’s my favorite line:

The pardon of Juan Orlando Hernández is a watershed moment in U.S.-Latin American relations. It establishes a precedent that American justice is malleable to executive interest. For aspiring autocrats in the region, the lesson is clear: alignment with the right faction in Washington offers better protection than adherence to the law.

15th post
Congress authorized going to war against Al Qaeda.
Biden authorized a bounty on Maduro:

Yep, probably so. But, that’s nothing new is it?

Look, we want the nations in our hemisphere to work with us, instead of our enemies…is that so hard to understand?

You obviously don’t.

Bin Laden orchestrated an attack that took place on America soil. Killed thousands. Plus being responsible for thousands of deaths around the world.

Maduro...did not. But he did run a country that sits on a large oil reserve that our leaders want to control dearly. (Unfortunately, they'll find that it's really expensive to tap into those reserves..but shhhhh! :))
Why did you leave out ther other issues with Maduro? Youre intentionally being dishonest.

1- He stole US oil companies

2- He released thousands of violent criminals from their prisons and sent them on migrant caravans to the US.

3- He was part of a massive drug smuggling ring that was killing Americans by the thousands annually.

4- He enacted socialism, which nose dived their economy. This causes the masses to illegally immigrate to the US.

5- He was illegally selling oil to our enemies.

We had plenty of legitimate reasons to snatch Maduro. We had TOO many reasons. We should have gone to full blown war over any one of those issues.
