It cracks me up that he had to hire experts to write clear directions in English on those damned forms. The government speaks Gobbledeegook. It doesn't take a neuroscientist--just a human!

I worked for the state for a number of years, and there were policy shifts in our department on a regular basis. Reading the "memos" and the policy statements and mission statements and fuck all were an exercise in futility. Yes, I was smart enough to understand them, but they contradicted each other and made our marching orders clear as mud. Every single time.
It is not, in many cases, a diabolical plot. It is because the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing, and they both want their 2cents worth, so it all goes in. Plus I'm pretty positive they get sick of reading the drafts and just approve them to get them off their desks.

Good morning Easy,

I don't think that there is not anyone who doesn't hire behavioral research experts including politicians if they are trying to make something look appealing .

It is big money for google or facebook to watch our online habits, before the internet and some still hire people to watch how we shop ect. including labels and political leanings..Words or actions for the political speeches...

My cousin was the color expert for Beauty and the Beast and he once told me that they make the roofs of restaurant blue to make it look more appealing.
If they want you to eat and not linger they color the room , one way. or another.

There have been numerous studies by numerous scientists that have shown the negatives of social programs that offer no way off of them, physically, economically, mentally...No one ever listens. Nothing ever changes. The federal govts' goal is not to help anyone off them but, as the article suggests, expand them / government.
