Who is attempting to remedy the economic health of the nation?

Obummer wants us to think that raising taxes on the rich will help "heal" the economy. If so, how will it heal the economy? The taxes that will be raised is a drop in the ocean compared to the spending that is going on right now. Then the GOP would have us believe that all we need to do is keep taxes low in order to grow the economy and grow our way out of debt. Again, there is not enough economic growth possible to dig our way out of the fiscal mess we are in, and no one in the GOP is recommending substantive spending cuts.

The entire charade is a disgrace and makes me ill. Since the days of Lincoln, the Executive has been referred to as a tyrrant and with good reason. It is because the nation has destroyed Federalism and the power of state rights. and has concentrated all power to a Congressional body that has an approval rating of only 13% and falling.

If the people want greater control over their government then they will need to bring government back home where they can weild greater influence over them. Stop these insane huge pots of money in Washington and bring the purse strings back home where people can monitor where they money goes to a better degree. Until this happens you people are just pissing in the wind. Enjoy.

Honestly, I can't say that this man has an "agenda" per se. What I mean is that, apparently, based on his upbringing and his communist/socialist mentors, it is becoming increasingly apparent that he truly despises "the American way" and sees "division among the classes" as a means of control of the base, which makes up the vast majority of liberals - but those people have been steadfastly in the quasi-communist camp from the begining.

Unions, Teachers, Professors,students, minorities, women and the like.

So, from an "agenda of policy", he merely has but to push those groups' buttons and they do the rest while he stands back and watches.
