Obama Didn't create 5 trillion in new debt....

The year Obama took office, he was handed a yearly debt of nearly 1.5 trillion. It's gone down every year. This year it's just over 1 trillion. Obama has cut it by nearly a third. At this rate, we will have a balanced budget in 7 or 8 years. Remember, it took 8 years for Republicans to turn a surplus into trillions in debt. If Obama isn't re-elected, forget it. Romney will be worse than Bush. Remember, Romney needed nearly 1.5 billion from the Republican senate to "save" the Olympics. All he knows is "bail outs".

True story. Easy to find out the truth. It's lucky we have Google.

Must be that "liberal" math I keep hearing about.

A decrease in the rate of debt increase equals a balanced budget.............OK then.

rdean, you are a few fries short of a happy meal.

Eventually. Keep decreasing the rate of debt and eventually, it drops to zero.

What is wrong with you people? It takes so much work to act stupid. Drop the act.

That's right. The debt is now nearly $5.6 trillion higher than the day he took office.

And how much of that is the two unpaid for wars that was left out of the budget?

How much includes the revenue lost from tax cuts that were never subtracted under Bush.

How much of that is the drugs for votes bill?

How much is because of the tens of thousands of Americans maimed in the Iraqi war of "choice"?

Don't stop there. Keep going. Factories closed. Millions of jobs lost from 2001 to 2008. Jobs moved to China. Billions in subsidies for oil companies.

It adds up. But of course, it's all Obama's fault.

Yup, and if you put your tooth under your pillow you'll get five bucks from the tooth fairy. Damn you liberals are so brain dead you make the zombies on the walking dead look like rocket scientists in comparrison.

We were dropping bombs and making war, now we are not and the deficit keeps going up. must be all those freebie obama programs.

The overall deficit has gone up, but not the yearly. Can't you read?

It's getting smaller. But Bush and the Republicans didn't grow it overnight. It took 8 years.

Like Businessweek, Forbes, Fortune Magazine, The Economist, American Scientist, Discover, Geotimes, Natural History, New Scientist

Yea, stick with Fox.

It's funny how Obama approved another year of the Bush Tax Cuts, if his policies were that bad, and the big bad debt was all his fault.

Every dollar spent adds to the deficit.
If Obama wanted to cut spending, he could have submitted a budget that cut spending.

But of course, it's all Obama's fault.

It's not my fault the debt is $5.6 trillion higher since Obama took office.
Is it your fault?

Basic accounting is that revenue is a plus, not a minus.
