(1) The application of numerous and significant variations in State law impacts the ability of insurers to offer, and individuals to obtain, affordable individual health insurance coverage, thereby impeding commerce in individual health insurance coverage.

They have money, but we have voting power, but we waist it on crooks who want money. Obama and the establishments of both parties aren't worried about 2010... the dems will get their asses kicked by the reps, the reps will get in power f-up and then we're back to the dems.

A wise man once said: the more things "change" the more things stay the same.

It's a shame. People always think it's "somebody else's" politicians and not theirs.

I'm a registered Democrat in a Democratic district.

I absolutely HATE my current congressman (Steny Hoyer) and our governor Martin O'Malley (Satan). I've been voting republican for congressman and third party for governor since I first registered. Only because the republican running against Hoyer is a real honest guy and a real conservative and actually stands for something. I thought about leaving the dems after last year, I'm real fiscally conservative but I joined the dems because I'm extremely socially liberal. I'd be a Barry Goldwater republican if I went to the other side, didn't know those existed until recently. I didn't bother changing, though. There's got to be people within both parties that are able and willing to vote for people who have the interests of the people they elect in mind.

So I'm sticking dem. Ever heard of a Barry Goldwater Democrat?
