Congress finds the following:

(1) The application of numerous and significant variations in State law impacts the ability of insurers to offer, and individuals to obtain, affordable individual health insurance coverage, thereby impeding commerce in individual health insurance coverage.

(2) Individual health insurance coverage is increasingly offered through the Internet, other electronic means, and by mail, all of which are inherently part of interstate commerce.

(3) In response to these issues, it is appropriate to encourage increased efficiency in the offering of individual health insurance coverage through a collaborative approach by the States in regulating this coverage.

(4) The establishment of risk-retention groups has provided a successful model for the sale of insurance across State lines, as the acts establishing those groups allow insurance to be sold in multiple States but regulated by a single State.

You know, I wish we'd stop playing these gotcha games. There is no point to it. It doesnt help further debate. It doesn't fix problems that we are actually facing. It doesn't somehow make us superior than someone else.

Why do we waste time with such pointless pursuits? And I say we because I know I'm guilty of it too. I think it's a sign of our own corruption. Something we need to work out of ourselves before we start worrying about others.

ok..... seriously dude..... you are proving their point of being a hypocrite.... "gotcha games"? really?? isn't that the denial that McPain/Failin08 used?

As a democrat.... well.... I am pissed off at this statistic.... really.... pissed.... off.
This proves the point that no matter what side you are on, you can always catch people on the other side being corrupt. Its not just Obama or Bush, its practically every Congressman and Senator, and it makes me sick. I see why you would want to use this to prove that Obama is a hypocrite, and I admit this is a huge blow to his image. But the bigger problem remains that this is widespread...

But I bet you will run right out there come Nov to vote for the same democrat you voted for last time corrupt or not.

Is Goldman Obama's Enron? No, it's worse | Washington Examiner

Obama took 7 times more money from Goldman Sachs than Bush did from Enron.

What say you, you liberal wacko, selectively outraged, lazy, maggot infested hypocrites?
That's some pretty deep bullshit there. It shouldn't be a wonder to anyone why Wall Street runs whatever the Hell party is in power. They have money, but we have voting power, but we waist it on crooks who want money. Obama and the establishments of both parties aren't worried about 2010... the dems will get their asses kicked by the reps, the reps will get in power f-up and then we're back to the dems.

A wise man once said: the more things "change" the more things stay the same.

Both parties will be afraid when we start kicking their money grabbing establishments to the curb. That's why the Republicans and the Democrats are shaking in their fucking boots in Kentucky because of Rand Paul.

Why ruin a perfectly good music video like that?

Most people will. Or they just won't vote.

It's a shame. People always think it's "somebody else's" politicians and not theirs.

I'm a registered Democrat in a Democratic district.

I absolutely HATE my current congressman (Steny Hoyer) and our governor Martin O'Malley (Satan). I've been voting republican for congressman and third party for governor since I first registered. Only because the republican running against Hoyer is a real honest guy and a real conservative and actually stands for something. I thought about leaving the dems after last year, I'm real fiscally conservative but I joined the dems because I'm extremely socially liberal. I'd be a Barry Goldwater republican if I went to the other side, didn't know those existed until recently. I didn't bother changing, though. There's got to be people within both parties that are able and willing to vote for people who have the interests of the people they elect in mind.

So I'm sticking dem. Ever heard of a Barry Goldwater Democrat?

Wall Street has historically favored Democrats, especially Goldman - and Obama epitomizes this fact. Let us not forget, Obama's Treasury Sec is a former Goldman boy.

Obama is bought and paid for as much as any politician.

No hope n change but rather a slick PR campaign to try and hide the fact it is very much more of the same Big Government corruption.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...
