Sen. Tim Scott responded to Barack Obama's attacks on him by claiming it's proof Democrats are 'threatened' by his candidacy in the 2024 Republican presidential primary.
The primary contender is only polling around 3 percent, but is facing an onslaught from Democrats who claim that he doesn't understand race issues in America as a black Republican.
'There's no higher compliment than being attacked by President Obama,' Scott told Fox News Sunday. 'Whenever the Democrats feel threatened, they pull out – drag out the former president and have him make some negative comments about someone running, hoping that their numbers go down.'
The first black president accused presidential hopefuls Scott and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley of engaging in a 'long history' of minority Republicans downplaying racism.
Scott is the only black Republican in the U.S. Senate, and Haley is the first-ever Indian-American to hold an office in South Carolina and serve in a presidential cabinet as ex-President Trump's U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

It's the Democrats who have the hate and racism problem.
A Democrat politician's worst nightmare is racial harmony.
