There is no way the Dem Establishment allow what happened to the GOP to happen to them. What I mean is, they consider Bernie an outsider. An outlier from the central controls. The last guy they pick for flag football only because the others left were conservatives. Yes, the moderate SHOULD win. But really, we have a whole field littered with moderates who didn't - Hillary, Romney, McCain, Kerry, Gore, Dole... all of whom won the nomination because they were the "safe" bet, but didn't win the general because no one was all that enthusiastic about them.

I'm sure that Bernie will generate a lot more enthusiasm than Biden will. I support Biden because I think he can actually run the country.
