Of course it is. Often it's the best choice , occasionally it's the only choice.Only 18 percent support Ron DeSantis' 6 week abortion ban, which was criticized by Trump.
A majority of Republicans, even don't support a national abortion ban, according to the polling.
They are also more likely to identify as “pro-choice” over “pro-life” for the first time in two decades.

How a Year Without Roe Shifted American Views on Abortion (Published 2023)
New and extensive polling shows public opinion increasingly supports legal abortion, with potential political consequences for 2024.www.nytimes.com
Never, the best choice is to not put yourself in that position!Of course it is. Often it's the best choice , occasionally it's the only choice.
Agreed , but for those already in that position it is not an option. Remember 9 out of ten rape victims still don't report it so for example in my state they have the exception for rape in place BUT it has to be reported and documented. That means 9 out of 10 rape victims iny state who become pregnant afterwards are being wrongfully o persecuted. Solution : All rape victims be offered the day after pill free. No more victims both ways.Never, the best choice is to not put yourself in that position!
In my state just like so many other republican-majority states our abortion law was put up on the people by our legislature even though the majority of people in the state opposed it. We are petitioning it to allow the people to vote it out.Dems claim to be the majority and that the vast majority support abortion. Okay then, why haven't they mustered the support in congress to pass an abortion bill??

So sucking the brain out of a full term baby is Not Barbaric?
The BABY is NOT a fetus at a partial birth abortion, its a viable full term BABY.

Yes a partial birth abortion is heinous, they are happening in at last 8 democrat states.Do you have any evidence that this is what is happening??????
There is no such thing as a "partial birth abortion". This is a heinous lie being promoted by right wing anti-abortion websites to engendered outrage in the gullible.
Ok, so I agree that "abortions" should be allowed for all non-viable pregnancies.Wrong.
The mother and her doctor are the only ones who can decide.
For example, if a fetus has no skull, why bother letting it be born?
So you don't have a majority on this issue, otherwise you would not require any Rep votes.Because Republicans who support abortion are not having their representatives vote this issue according to what their voters want. Republicans MUST hew to the party line or be primaried.

How late in pregnancy each state allows abortions
Abortion up until this point was still legal at later stages in pregnancy — but that's expected to change.www.axios.com
That's only if necessary , as in hydrocephalics. Not quite.
Since the skull is not rigid yet, they suck out the contents of the skull so that it shrinks and causes less pain to the woman.
The head of the fetus is much larger than the rest of the fetus.
