The Republican party is going to have to escape the Trump trap. They're trying!

If they do then they will be able to ensure that Biden is toast. If not then they're likely safe with Biden vs. Trump.

Trump needs some symbolic win now and it can't be a call to violence by his lieutenants. He's lost the power to do that at least temporarily.
