I live in the Town of Hempstead.It is no secret that some cities have more economic and demographic impact than many states. There is much less scrutiny and vetting that goes into direction and consulting at the municipal than at higher levels. This certainly invites exploitation.

NEW YORK — When asked how his administration would get a handle on an uptick in shootings, Mayor Eric Adams criticized the Black Lives Matter movement Wednesday for failing to mount large-scale protests against ongoing gun violence.
“If Black lives matter, then the thousands of people I saw on the street when [George] Floyd was murdered should be on the streets right now stating that the lives of these Black children that are dying every night matter,” Adams said. “We can’t be hypocrites.”
Adams was speaking on NY1 about the arrest of Frank James, who is accused of carrying out the shooting on a Brooklyn subway car Tuesday, when he was asked about more than a dozen other incidents of gun violence that happened in other parts of the city Tuesday night through Wednesday morning and what he would do to get a handle on crime.
Because they picked the wrong slogan/organizational name. Black live do not matter in general to black people, as they don't give a damn unless there is a cop (preferably a white cop) involved. It is hypocrisy at it's worse, just to raise money, that goes to the top of the pyramid scam. Everybody knows most black people that are shot or murdered are shot/murdered by other black people in the street, why BLM is only outraged if it is white cops doing the shooting. Lots of black kids get shot, and probably 99%+ by black people, not cops or white people. Your org is just for the benefit of black thugs, to stupid, thuggish, or proud to do what they are told by cops. Nobody likes black thugs. Normal black people, don't even like black thugs unless kin to them. Just an assumption on my part, having heard from you what sounds like support for that organization. Wasn't trying to offend you glow dude. Maybe you are a supporter. Maybe you aren't.
