You're the one not answering a simple question. Answer in your own words why YOU think Biden interfered in Ukrainian politics. You won't. You'll evade and cower.
I believe George Kent because he clearly knows what he's talking about. I think the difference between you and me is that I can tell when someone's bullshitting and you don't. If you had read the testimony, you'd know what I believe. But that's probably to
hard.
I'll try to explain it so that your juvenile brain can understand.
Ukraine wanted to break from Russia to get closer to Europe.
Bad for Russia, good for us.
So let's help Ukraine become more pro-western, more pro-democracy, more pro-good governance. It's the right thing to do.
We agree to help Ukraine monetarily. Loan guarantees, lots of them, because they are struggling financially.
But wait, Ukraine doesn't become a beacon of democracy overnight. There's still a lot of people embedded in their government who are from the old system, which was corrupt.
If Ukraine is going to be come a thriving democracy, they need to have a functional judicial system.
The corrupt businessmen and politicians need to be held accountable.
That's not happening.
The prosecutor general isn't pursuing any serious corruption cases. In fact, he's one of the guys from the old, corrupt system.
Okay, let's set up a new office, independent of the old system, with people who will start to go after corruption, especially in the justice system. Let's spend a lot of time and money on it, get people from our justice system to give them tips.
Success, this new office is on to some corrupt prosecutors.
Oh, wait, they're honing on one of Shokin's associates.
Oh wait, Shokin is dismantling the new office we worked on.
Oh wait, Shokin has put a stop to the investigation into his friends.
Guys, we aren't getting anywhere reforming their justice system, this was just a huge waste of money.
If we are going to keep working with them, Shokin has to go, otherwise we are going to be making any progress.
Our loan guarantees are keeping Ukraine afloat, so let's refuse to help Ukraine until it get's it's act cleaned up and fires Shokin.
There you go.
