"Gov. Kathy Hochul has ordered all flags in the State of New York to be raised to full-staff for Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th US president.

Flags are currently flying at half-staff across the nation to mark the death of former President Jimmy Carter, who died Dec. 29 at the age of 100.

Per American flag code, the Stars and Stripes are lowered on “all federal buildings, grounds and naval vessels” nationwide to mark the death of a sitting or former president.

However, Hochul is bucking convention, at least temporarily.

“Tomorrow, we are all Americans as we observe the centuries-old traditions of Inauguration Day,” Hochul said in a statement to The Post."

which flags? ALL flags on public buildings? How about flags on private property? I support for the duration of the inauguration restoration to
full staff for PUBLIC BUILDINGS-----then back to half staff----REASONABLE

I noticed on the local news coverage out of DC this morning that all the Fed building in DC still have the flags at half-staff.....Biden is so fuckin' vindictive and classless.

If I was Trump the moment after I was sworn in I'd order them to full staff.

Trump's administration will be the opposite of every other.
While other presidents are most active their first term and rather a lame duck in their second, even CBS is admitting that Trump will be the opposite: freed of all the shackles of his first term, now surrounded with allies and supporters and wise of how to get things done in DC now, Trump's 2nd term is going to be ROLLING THUNDER.
